Leica C-Lux Is A Long-Zoom Compact Camera

There are plenty of compact cameras available in the market today, many of which offer users long-zoom lenses for those that like to get up close and personal. However if you have the cash to splash and wouldn’t mind getting a new digital compact camera, Leica might have something for you with the Leica C-Lux.

As some have pointed out, the C-Lux is essentially a rebranding of the Panasonic ZS200, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It will continue to feature the ZS200’s 15x 24-360mm f/3.3-6.4 lens and will also feature a 1-inch 20.1MP sensor. We’re also looking at a 49-point autofocus system, the ability to shoot up to 10fps, and it is also capable of recording 4K videos.

There is also built-in Bluetooth and WiFi for those who wish to transfer photos and videos wirelessly instead of having to rely on a cable. However we’re sure that many are also curious about the main thing, and that is it’s price. Given that we’re talking about a Leica, you’d think that there would be a premium imposed on it, and you would be right.

The Leica- C-Lux is priced at $1,050 which is pretty pricey when you consider it is essentially a compact camera, but given the the ZS200 is only $250 cheaper, we guess it’s not too hefty of a price tag to get the Leica branding if you care about that sort of thing.

Musician Sues His Ex For Hacking Into His Emails & Turning Down A Scholarship

Imagine you apply for a job or a scholarship to the company or school of your dreams, somewhere you know will advance you in your life and get you to where you want to be, only to be told that you were rejected. It’s a terrible feeling, but imagine that it was all false, and that the rejection was actually sent to you by an ex-partner who just didn’t want you to leave.

That’s pretty much the situation with a Canadian clarinet player by the name of Eric Abramovitz who appeared to have a lot of potential, only to be thwarted when his ex impersonated the school he was applying to and sent him a false rejection letter. How did Abramovitz find out? He bumped into Yehuda Gilad, one of the world’s greatest clarinet masters and whom Abramovitz had initially auditioned for.

Gilad asked why Abramovitz came back to audition when he rejected him in the first place, in which they both found out that both rejections – the rejection of Gilad’s offer and the rejection of Abramovitz’s application for a scholarship to the Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles. After further digging in which Abramovitz accessed the email used to send the rejection letter, he found that it used the same password that his ex used to use, along with links to her phone number, in which he realized it was her doing all along.

To that end he filed a lawsuit against his ex in which the judge awarded him $300,000 which was what Abramovitz asked for, along with an additional $50,000 to express “court’s revulsion at what Ms Lee has done”.
