As per the rumors, Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 76 will be an online game where there will be an emphasis placed on working and interacting with other players. While Fallout has supported multiplayer, what the game is known for are its campaigns and storyline which are largely single-player based.
Unsurprisingly there are some players who aren’t too thrilled about the new direction that Fallout is headed, but the good news is that you won’t have to deal with other players if you don’t want to. Bethesda’s Todd Howard confirmed that the game will support private games, which means that players won’t have to deal with other players if they don’t want to.
However the bad news is that these private games won’t be available at launch and are expected to come later. Speaking to Geoff Keighley, Howard said, “We will not being able to do that at launch, though. Our goal for launch — this is really new for us — is to have a well-running, robust service, and then some period later, we’re currently still designing what that service looks like, you’ll be able to have your own private world, and be able to mod it and do all of that.”
We’re not sure if cooperating with other players is a must in the game and whether or not players can get by by themselves, but we suppose this is an option for those who’d rather not deal with other players.

Over the years Apple has made changes to the way iPhones are charged, starting with the 30-pin connector, before eventually ending up with Lightning which has been found on every iPhone since the iPhone 5. However a new report from DigiTimes (via Cult of Mac) has suggested that this could change in 2018.
The report claims that sources in the supply chain are claiming that Apple could ditch Lightning for USB-C. This is actually be the first time we’re hearing such rumors, although it doesn’t sound as unlikely as you would think. Apple has been transitioning its laptops to USB-C only ports, which means that for the iPhone to switch to USB-C wouldn’t be too surprising.
Plus USB-C to USB-C cables means that users can plug either end to the port and their iPhones to charge. It also does away with exclusive peripherals and makes it more convenient for iPhone users to find cables to charge their devices with. That being said, it should be noted that DigiTimes doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to Apple rumors, and more often than not gets more wrong than right, so it’s probably best to take it with a grain of salt for now. However what do you guys think? Do you reckon it’s likely that Apple would ditch its proprietary Lightning for USB-C?

Updates are usually seen as good things as they are expected to bring about improvements and new features. However sometimes they can go wrong and end up causing more trouble. Now it has been a couple of weeks since Apple released iOS 11.4 but it seems that iPhone users are claiming that the update has resulted in their iPhones draining battery rapidly.
According to one user who posted on Apple’s official forums, “I have the same issue with my 6S+. It was fine before the update. And my battery health is at 90% yet I just watched my battery % drop from 50% to 20% in a matter of minutes while not using it. I’ve looked through all the settings and can’t see anything I’ve previously had turned off turn back on with this new update in regards to saving battery life. Whatever it is that’s causing it they need to fix it ASAP.”
It appears that this user isn’t alone as subsequent posts have revealed that there are other users who are also experiencing rapid battery drain following the update. This is not the first time that we’re hearing about Apple’s iOS updates causing battery drain and it’s concerning that this seems to happen more frequently than it should.
Apple has yet to officially comment on the issue and whether or not it could be due to a bug or something else, but are there are any of our readers experiencing this rapid drain following the update to iOS 11.4?
