If there is a main selling point of compact cameras, it would be exactly that, it’s compactness and the ability to slip it into a purse or pocket. However usually this also means having to compromise on things like image quality because there are only so many parts that can fit into a compact body.
However Sony has defied this with its RX100 series of compact cameras which have proven to be an extremely popular choice amongst even professional photographers who want something small. If you’re in the market for a small but capable camera, then you’ll be interested to learn that Sony has since announced the RX100 VI, the latest in its lineup of RX100 cameras.
The camera will feature a built-in ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 24-200mm f/2.8-4.5 lens, the use of a stacked 20.1MP Exmor RS CMOS sensor, an upgraded BIONZ X image processor, front-end LSI, and according to Sony, an insanely fast autofocus speed of 0.03 seconds thanks to the use of a 315 focal plane phase-detection system.
There is also built-in optical image stabilization and for those who are looking to shoot video, the RX100 VI will be capable of recording 4K video as well. As for pricing and availability, the RX100VI will be priced at $1,200 and is expected to start shipping out next month.

Last year Google introduced smart replies to Gmail where basically these were messages (or phrases to be more specific) that users could use to respond to emails based on the content of the email. This meant that if there was no need for a lengthy or specific response, you could use smart replies to acknowledge emails quickly.
Now we know that Google was planning on rolling out the feature to more of its apps/services and the good news is that according to a report from Android Police, that’s what Google is doing as smart replies is now making its way to more Android Messages users. The feature was actually released last year on a limited basis, presumably for testing purposes, but now it looks like more users are starting to see the feature enabled for them.
It is unclear as to whether or not they are device specific, but as the report points out, there are some users on Nexus 6 handsets who are reporting that they have received the feature. It is probably being rolled out in stages so if you don’t see it yet, not to worry as it should probably eventually make its way to you.
Smart replies will be a feature that users can turn on or off within the Settings of Android Messages, so if you’d rather not have it then you’re free to disable it whenever you want.
