Star Wars Luke Skywalker Pilot Helmet Replica: Red Five, Standing By!

Star Wars fans looking to add to their collection will want to save up their loot to get hands on this awesome Luke Skywalker rebel pilot helmet prop replica. The helmet is a dead ringer for the one Luke wore during the trench run in Episode IV, and was created based on scans and measurements from an original screen-worn prop.

Priced at $399, this isn’t a cheap kid’s toy. The outer shell is made from ABS plastic, and handpainted to duplicate the look of the real thing. It even has the mic boom sticking in front of the mouth so you can talk to Jek Porkins. The helmet can be adjusted to fit up to a us hat size 8.

Entertainment Earth will have the helmet in stock for shipment come January 2019, but pre-orders are open now.

A Quarter Of U.S. Tesla Model 3 Reservations Reportedly Refunded

The Tesla Model 3 is the first mass-market electric car from the company with prices starting at $35,000. Hundreds of thousands of people placed orders for the car when it was announced a couple of years ago but production issues have prevented the company from meeting its delivery schedules. According to a new report, almost a quarter of U.S. reservations for the Model 3 have now been refunded.

Tesla allowed customers to order the vehicle by paying a $1,000 deposit. It was initially expected that they would receive their cars by 2018 but Tesla still has a significant backlog of orders to clear which has resulted in delayed deliveries.

According to a report, almost 23 percent of all Model 3 deposits in the United States had been refunded as of the end of April 2018. While the reason behind the cancellations is unconfirmed, it’s widely believed to be the delayed deliveries that have frustrated some customers enough to give up their position in the line.

Tesla may not have lost these customers permanently as they may choose to make a reservation again when the production is more regular but it remains to be seen how soon Tesla can make that happen.

Tesla’s production numbers for the Model 3 still aren’t high as it needs them to be in order to fulfill the over 450,000 reservations that it has received for the car. The company only delivered 8,180 Model 3 cars in the previous quarter.

Devil May Cry 5 Announcement May Take Place Soon

It has been a while since Capcom came out with a new Devil May Cry title. It was reported back in November last year that Devil May Cry 5 has been in development for more than two years now and that it’s going to be a more ambitious game than its predecessors with a bigger scope. Some additional details were also revealed at that time. Capcom is yet to say anything about the title so far but some evidence has surfaced which suggests that it may make an official announcement in the not too distant future.

Capcom has reportedly registered a domain for Devil May Cry 5 through the GMO Internet Group. It’s said to have registered domains related to other properties like Resident Evil and Monster Hunter World through the group as well.

The domain devilmaycry5.com was reportedly registered merely a couple of weeks ago which some believe is an indication that the game will be officially announced soon. Anyone can buy a domain so a mere registration shouldn’t mean anything but it’s pertinent to mention here that the domain was registered through GMO Internet Group, a legitimate online services provider based in Japan, which has previously registered domains for Resident Evil 7 and Monster Hunter World.

The company registered the domains of these recent Capcom games shortly before they were officially announced so its registration of a domain for Devil May Cry 5 leads us to reasonably assume that an official announcement of the new game isn’t that far off now.

Google Assistant Can Now Order From Starbucks And Dunkin’ Donuts

Google confirmed at its I/O 2018 developers’ conference last month that Assistant will soon be able to tap into more food delivery and restaurant services to enable users to order stuff from more places with just their voice commands. It’s following through on that by rolling out the ability to order from Starbucks, Applebee’s, and Dunkin’ Donuts via Google Assistant on all Assistant-enabled devices.

The Assistant actions for these relevant chains will let users place their order using voice commands and then pick it up from the store. Starbucks already allows mobile ordering in the same manner through its own app as well.

Users can get started by telling Assistant that they want to “talk to Starbucks,” or Applebee’s/Dunkin’ Donuts. For Starbucks, users will have to link to their Starbucks account and select a payment method before they can start ordering.

The action will then find the Starbucks nearest to the user’s location and ask if they want to pick up their order from there. Users can choose a Starbucks in a different location as well. The Dunkin’ Donuts action works in a similar manner.

The Applebee’s action will allow users to order their meal through Assistant and then have it delivered to them as well. They will need to connect to an Applebee’s account first. All of these actions are available on any device that Google Assistant is supported on.
