Battlefield 1 Xbox One X Support Included In The Summer Patch

Battlefield 1’s life cycle is nearing an end as DICE and EA are now gearing up to launch the next game in the series, Battlefield 5. However, there is a promised addition to the title that many Battlefield 1 fans have been waiting for. The Battlefield 1 Xbox One X support will be included in the upcoming summer patch for the title.

A big new summer patch is being developed for Battlefield 1. It’s going to bring several new additions to the title including the long-awaited Xbox One X support. It will finally enable the title to take full advantage of the enhanced power offered by Microsoft’s most powerful gaming console.

Fans of this title have long requested DICE to add support for the Xbox One X so that they can get an even better gameplay experience courtesy of the more powerful internals inside this console. The title already takes full advantage of the PlayStation 4 Pro’s advanced hardware so Xbox One X owners have understandably been feeling left out.

EA and DICE haven’t confirmed as yet when this summer update is going to be released for the game. They haven’t mentioned what other improvements will be included in the big summer patch as well. DICE will probably reveal these details in a live stream that it has planned for later today.

Google Limits The Number Of Notches An Android Device Can Have

Android device manufacturers have jumped on the notched display bandwagon in droves. The Essential Phone was one of the first to feature a notch before it was popularized by the iPhone X and then everyone started doing it. Most smartphones that we have seen so far don’t have more than one notch but Google is hedging its bets against a potential problem in the future by laying down the law with regards to the maximum number of notches allowed on an Android device.

Google has informed device manufacturers that their devices can only have a notch at the top and/or at the bottom of the display. There can only be a single notch on each edge of the display.

Given Android’s open source nature, it’s not like Google can actually stop a manufacturer from making a smartphone that has three notches on the display for some odd reason. They could make such a device but Google would likely reprimand them for it.

It’s unlikely that will happen, though. The devices we have seen with notched displays so far only have one and some manufacturers have now started pushing the envelope on smartphone design to get rid of the notch altogether.

Still, it’s good to know that Google will not allow this notch situation to get out of hand, even though many users still can’t stand just a single notch on their smartphones.

Audi To Unveil Electric Supercar Concept Next Month

There are several companies that are developing all-electric supercars and you can now add German car manufacturer Audi to the list as well. The company has revealed that it’s going to show off a concept of its first electric supercar, the PB 18 e-tron, at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance next month. This isn’t Audi’s first foray into the electric car game, though.

Audi has previously revealed multiple all-electric vehicles. Its first electric car, the 2019 e-tron, hasn’t been launched as yet but Audi won’t let that get in the way of exciting supercar fans with its all-electric contender.

The company mentions that its supercar EV concept has technology which has been developed from the R18 e-tron vehicle that won the Le Mans series. A teaser image has been released by the company which hints at a planted stance for the device which one would expect from a supercar. We can also make out a raised spoiler and slim headlights.

No technical details are available at this point in time so it’s unclear just how much power this supercar is going to have and what kind of a range will it be able to promise on a single charge. Audi will formally unveil its supercar EV concept on August 23rd and that’s likely when we’ll get more details about it.
