Of course folks on Twitter picked the administration up on it.

It has often been advised that public WiFi networks aren’t necessarily the most secure, so when using it, it might not necessarily be the best idea to log into your banking accounts, make financial transactions, or access sensitive documents lest you end up having your information intercepted or spied upon.
However for those who do use public WiFi from time to time, you might be interested to learn that Verizon has recently launched a VPN service called Safe WiFi that is designed to protect users while on public WiFi networks. According to Verizon, Safe WiFi is expected to encrypt your browsing sessions using “bank-grade encryption”.
It will also block and hide your IP to help cover your tracks and not give out your private information. To top it off, Verizon’s VPN will also provide users with ad blocking which is also another way of protecting your online presence as some ads do come with trackers that tracks your activity across the internet.
Unfortunately this feature is only available to Verizon customers who will need to add it to their account. It will cost $3.99 a month and will cover up to 10 devices on their account. To sign up or to learn more, head on over to Verizon’s website for the details.

When the Nintendo Switch launched, we’re sure that there were some who were surprised that Nintendo did not launch some sports-like game with it unlike what they did with the Wii and Wii U. Instead Nintendo chose to launch 1-2 Switch as a way of showcasing what the console could do.
However if Wii Sports-like games are something you’re interested in, you’ll be pleased to learn that Go Vacation has recently been launched on the console. Developed by Bandai Namco, this is a game that contains a variety of sporting events that players will be able to enjoy with each other with local multiplayer features.
The game has been designed to be like a resort, which means that players will be able to choose a variety of locations to play on, such as at the marine, in the snow, a mountain area, or downtown in a city. Of course whether or not this holds up to the Wii Sports remains to be seen, but it looks like a great game for parties. It is priced at $40 and is currently available for purchase, so head on over to Nintendo’s website for the details, or you can also check out the overview trailer above.

Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum Session & Drum ‘N’ Fun Announced For PS4, Nintendo Switch
Posted in: Today's ChiliEarlier this year the folks at Bandai Namco announced Taiko Drum Master. This was a new rhythm game designed for the Nintendo Switch, but unfortunately the game seemed to be limited to Japan which meant that unless you knew how to read Japanese, you might have a hard time trying to enjoy the game.
The good news is that if you were looking forward to a Western release, you’ll be pleased to learn that Bandai Namco has since announced Taiko No Tatsujin: Drum Session and Drum ‘n’ Fun will be arriving on both the PS4 and the Nintendo Switch come 2nd of November, 2018, each with unique features catered to each console.
With Drum ‘n’ Fun, as you might have expected, this will take advantage of the motion sensors in the Joy-Cons where you can air drum to a variety of songs. It will be based on the arcade version of Taiko no Tatsujin which hints at a focus on multiplayer, where it will support up to four players at once.
The game will also feature songs from various anime such as “Neon Genesis Evangelion, Disney favorites including Frozen and Zootopia, and tracks from Kemono Friends, Osomatsu San, Hatsune Miku, and even Touhou Project”, and more, so do keep an eye out for it if this sounds like a game you are interested in.

Wish lists have been a feature of Amazon for a long time but now according to a report from The Verge, it seems that Amazon is testing out a new feature which comes in the form of collaborative wish lists. Note that this feature hasn’t been rolled out to all users yet as it appears to be in testing, so it is unclear if and when it will roll out to all Amazon users.
Initially spotted by Android Police, as the name suggests, this involves a wish list that will allow users to collaborate on a wish list together. Prior to this, users could share their wish lists with others, and unless you use the Wedding Registry feature, only one person could add to the wish list at a time. However with collaborative wish lists, multiple users will be able to add to the list at once. This might come in handy for party planning, for holidays, birthdays, and so on.
Amazon did not specify as to who would be part of the test, but for those who are interested in seeing if they might be part of it, head on over to a wish list that you have created, and if you see a bubble underneath the list’s title that reads, “Invite”, it means that you are part of the test and you can start sending links to friends who are then able to edit that list.

For the most part a lot of our smartphones these days almost never last past 2 days. Granted battery life has improved since smartphones were first introduced, but if you wanted a phone that you would only need to charge once or twice a week, good luck finding that! However this is where battery optimizations come in handy.
For OnePlus 5 and 5T owners, you might be interested in checking out the latest update that OnePlus has issued for both devices. One of the new features that OnePlus will be adding in the update comes in the form of Sleep Standby Optimization. This is supposed to help with battery conservation which should help the phone last longer.
According to OnePlus, “When this setting is turned on, the system intelligently identifies your sleep pattern based on the phone’s usage. The phone will then turn off the network during specific periods of inactivity, which effectively reduces standby power consumption. The phone will automatically cancel any network restrictions and get the phone out of Sleep Standby just before you wake up so that you won’t miss any notifications such as news updates, emails etc.”
The update is already live but as OnePlus notes, this is coming in the form of a staged rollout where it will be released to a limited number of users at first before it eventually finds its way to more users over the coming days.
