When Nintendo announced the Labo kits, they unveiled two kits that customers could choose from. However if you’re looking for more variety, you’ll be pleased to learn that Nintendo has since announced the Vehicle Kit. Dubbed the Toy-Con 03 Vehicle Kit, this Labo kit is expected to be launched in September.
There will be several different creations that users will be able to come up with, such as the Toy-Con Car, a Toy-Con Pedal, a Toy-Con Plane, a Toy-Con Key, and a Toy-Con Submarine. Of course users are more than welcome to mix and match and come up with creations of their own, but these are some the templates that will be available.
These will require users to own the Nintendo Switch since it will take advantage of the Switch’s console unit as well as the Joy-Con controllers. In terms of pricing, the Vehicle Kit is priced like a regular game (albeit slightly more expensive) at $70 and will be available for purchase come 14th of September.
According to Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, “Nintendo Labo is a collaborative and creative experience designed to encourage imagination in people of all ages. There are age limits when it comes to doing certain activities, such as drinking, driving, smoking, voting, gambling, and so on. However the question is, should there be an age limit when it comes to using drones? That’s something a new bill proposed by the UK’s Department of Transport seems to suggest.
According to the proposed bill, it has been suggested that those below a certain age might not be allowed to own/operate drones that weigh more than 250g, which effectively rules out quite a number of drones in the market today. According to the report, it has been proposed that the age be set at 18 years and above.
However it has been noted that 18 years is still 3 years below the minimum age requirement one would need to obtain an aeroplane or helicopter pilots license. There is an upside and that is those below the age limit can operate the drones as long as they are being supervised by an older individual.
Apparently the age limit has been proposed due to concerns about how there are increased instances of near-collisions with manned aircrafts, and also snooping. That being said, the UK isn’t alone in trying to regulate drones. In the US the FAA has made it a requirement for drone owners to register their drone with the agency.

During E3 2018 last month, the folks at Team17 confirmed and announced Overcooked 2. This is the sequel to the original Overcooked which was released back in 2016 and given its success, safe to say that many are looking forward to its release. For those looking for additional footage of the game, a new video has been released online.
This new video seems to focus on the pre-order bonuses that players will be able to get should they decide to pre-order the game ahead of its release. These bonuses come in the form of additional chef characters which presumably will only be available for those who pre-order the game, which last we heard was set for a launch on the 7th of August, 2018.
There will be five bonus chefs that players will be able to get, but whether or not players think that this merits pre-ordering the game is subjective, but it could be worth pre-ordering if you know that you will be getting the game anyway. Overcooked 2 will be playable across multiple platforms such as PC (via Steam), the PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
The game will feature brand new challenges, kitchens, chefs, and recipes, along with new game mechanics. There will also be online multiplayer if you’re hoping to cook it up with someone else.
