Olloclip’s New Multi-Device Clip Makes It Compatible With More Phones

Olloclip is more or less synonymous when it comes to enhancing one’s mobile photography, thanks to its lenses that can be attached to our smartphones. However for the most part, Olloclip tends to mostly target the iPhone, which means that there are a bunch of Android phone users out there who miss out on this.

It’s not hard to see why because Apple tends to keep its camera in the same position across all models, whereas Android OEMs tend to shift them around. However the good news for non-iPhone users is that Olloclip has recently announced a new Multi-Device Clip, which as the name implies will make it compatible with more smartphones.

The best part is that this new Multi-Device Clip will be compatible with the Connect X lenses (the lenses used with Olloclip’s iPhone X system), meaning that if you’ve recently made the switch from iPhone X to Android, these lenses won’t go to waste. This includes a variety of lenses for super-wide, ultra-wide, telephoto, fisheye and macro, macro 7x + 14x, and macro 21x.

According to Todd Williams, global sales director at olloclip, “The Multi-Device Clip is unlike any product on the market. It remains our goal at olloclip to continually enhance the consumer’s mobile photography experience through the most compact, accurate and easy-to-use products. We designed the Multi-Device Clip to serve the greatest range of smartphones, including those with a screen protector or thin case, for ultimate versatility.”

The Olloclip Multi-Device Clip will be made available for purchase mid-September starting at $60.

Photos Of Google’s Upcoming Pixel 3 Smartphone Leaked

Google will most likely be launching their new Pixel 3 smartphones in a few months. For the most part the leaks that we’ve come across largely focus on the larger Pixel 3 XL, but now thanks to a post on Reddit (via 9to5Google), alleged real-life photos the smaller Pixel 3 have found their way online.

The front of the phone looks like most smartphones, but if you look closely, there is a dual camera setup on the front which is in line with most of the rumors we’ve heard so far. The screenshot also confirms the “pill” button at the bottom which will allow users to use gesture to interact with the phone, similar to the iPhone X.

Last we heard the feature would be enabled by default for Pixel 3 smartphones, but can be disabled if users don’t want it, and it can also be enabled on other devices. Also according to the rumors, the Pixel 3 is expected to remain a Verizon exclusive, but the poster on Reddit claims that might not be the case.

According to the poster (who has since deleted their Reddit account), “Wish I could confirm further with evidence, but it’s hard to without taking photos of personally identifying info. I’ll also just say that this particular device is part of a testing program through a carrier other than Verizon, so I’d expect that exclusivity to end this year.” Take it with a grain of salt for now, but last we heard, the Pixel 3 could be launched on the 9th of October.
