Alleged Apple Watch Series 4 Image Leaked

Apple has recently confirmed that on the 12th of September, they will be hosting an event. The company does not mention what exactly will be announced, but it’s safe to assume that it will be about their new iPhones. It is also expected that the event will see Apple launch a new Apple Watch, which now thanks to 9to5Mac, an official render of the device has been shared.

According to 9to5Mac, this is an official image and not a mockup, meaning that it could be one of the images that Apple plans to use to market the Apple Watch on its website or in ads. Based on the render’s design we have to say that it certainly looks that way. According to the rumors, the Apple Watch Series 4 is expected to a sport a larger display, but it’s hard to tell from this render and angle.

However the render does seem to show that the Apple Watch Series 4 will be getting a new watch face (it is possible that it could be part of watchOS 5). As you can see, this face will show considerably more information than what can be shown right now. We’re not sure if this will be an exclusive to the Series 4 thanks to its larger display.

There is also a hole in between the side button and the Digital Crown which has been speculated to be an additional microphone. Either way we’ll have to wait and see, but we’re only a couple of weeks off from the official announcement so we won’t have to wait too long.

Apple’s 2018 iPhone XS Renders Leaked

It was recently reported that Apple was facing a conundrum on how to brand this year’s iPhones. It would seem that the company might have painted themselves into a corner when they decided on the iPhone X name last year, leaving many to speculate as to what this year’s model could be called.

Now according to a report from 9to5Mac, not only has the potential name for 2018’s iPhones been revealed to be the iPhone XS, but renders of the device have been leaked as well. The render you see above is apparently not a mockup and was obtained by the publication. Based on how it’s been designed, it looks like it is an official Apple image that would have most likely found its way onto its website.

The render shows both models, the rumored smaller 5.8-inch iPhone XS which is expected to largely retain the design of last year’s iPhone X, and the larger 6.5-inch model, which judging by the renders is noticeably bigger. Note that the 5.8-inch iPhone X technically has a larger display than the previous Plus models, but it was a “taller” and narrower display, which ultimately made it feel smaller.

For those who might have been put off by that, the 6.5-inch model could be a worthy alternative. Apple has since confirmed that they will be hosting an event on the 12th of September in which we expect the new iPhones and also the new Apple Watch Series 4 smartwatch to be announced.
