Years before Apple came out with the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil, very few companies dared to oppose what the late Steve Jobs said about styluses, that nobody would want them. In 2012, a startup named FiftyThree launched not only an award-winning Paper sketchbook app exclusively for the iPad then nascent but also a popular Pencil stylus. Now six … Continue reading
Earlier this month alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Samsung also took the wraps off their latest smartwatch in the form of the Galaxy Watch. The watch would feature support for cellular connectivity and for T-Mobile customers who were interested in it, it seems that Samsung has started accepting pre-orders for it.
The 42mm version of the watch is priced at $380 while the larger 46mm model will retail for $400. For those learning about the Galaxy Watch for the first time, this is Samsung’s latest smartwatch which under the hood will pack the Exynos 9110 processor clocked at 1.15GHz. There will be 1.5GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a heart rate sensor, IP68 certification which makes it water and dust resistant, and NFC.
Unfortunately it seems that the rumors were wrong about the watch’s platform of choice. Due to the fact that the watch uses the Galaxy branding, it was speculated that the Galaxy Watch could actually end up using Google’s Wear OS platform. Instead Samsung has decided to keep using Tizen instead, where the watch will come with Tizen 4.0.
As for battery life, Samsung promises all day battery life where the 46mm model will pack a 472mAh battery while the smaller 42mm model will be packing a 270mAh battery.

There seems to be a trend these days in which following the launch of the Razer Phone, we’ve started to hear more about other companies who are getting into gaming smartphones as well. ASUS is one of those companies, and last we heard Samsung could be interested in launching such a device as well.
Whether or not Samsung goes through with that remains to be seen, but in the meantime it appears that Doogee has tossed their hat into the ring with the announcement of the Doogee S70. According to Doogee, the S70 combines both a rugged design with the hardware of a gaming smartphone, which means that if you plan to do a lot of gaming on the go, you won’t have to worry about roughing up your device.
In terms of specs, we’re looking at the use of the MediaTek Helio P23 with eight cores clocked at 2.5GHz. There will also be a Mali G71 GPU, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 5,500mAh battery with support for 24W fast charging. There will also be a dual camera setup, a fingerprint sensor, and a “game mode” button on the side which basically silences notifications and closes apps.
There will also be a gamepad attachment that introduces a thumbstick controller which connects to the side of the phone and pairs via Bluetooth. No word on pricing or availability yet, but it appears that Doogee has plans to fund its creation via Indiegogo, although the project has yet to go live.

Due to the fact that the Nintendo Switch game cards are essentially memory cards, it also means that there is a finite amount of storage that comes with it. As a result gamers who purchase the physical copy of games more often than not find themselves having to download additional files when the game is installed.
The good news is that if you were planning on getting the physical copy of Diablo 3 for the Nintendo Switch, you’ll be pleased to learn that the game is ready to go out of the box, assuming that there are no patches on launch day itself. This was confirmed by PC Mag (via Nintendo Life) who revealed that Blizzard had managed to fit all of Diablo 3 into the game card.
Diablo 3 for the Nintendo Switch will basically come with everything that Blizzard has launched to date. This will include a copy of the original game, obviously, along with the Reaper of Souls expansion pack, the Rise of the Necromancer DLC, and also some additional Nintendo Switch exclusive goodies like in-game pets and armor skins.
Blizzard has yet to provide a specific release date for the game, but it is said to launch in the fall of 2018, so keep an eye out for it if Diablo 3 on the Switch looks like a game you might have fun playing.
