Dark Souls: Remastered Nintendo Switch Release Date Confirmed

It has confirmed some time back that Dark Souls will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch. Bandai Namco has finally confirmed what the Dark Souls: Remastered Nintendo Switch release date is. The game is going to land on this platform in a couple of months from now after making its mark on competing platforms.

The Nintendo Switch port of Dark Souls will run at full 1080p HD resolution when the console is docked in TV mode and will run at 720p in handheld mode. It will have a frame rate of 30 frames per second. The title will also have support for up to six players in the online mode. All DLC is included in the remastered version.

Bandai Namco has confirmed that the remastered Dark Souls port is going to be released for the Nintendo Switch on October 19th alongside its matching amiibo. Bandai Namco had actually said that it would release the game in Summer 2018 but that didn’t exactly happen.

It properly took more time than expected to port this title over to the Nintendo Switch. A remastered version has previously been launched for other platforms as well. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC got it on May 25th as per the schedule.

Devil May Cry 5 Playable Demo Will Arrive At Gamescom 2018

There’s a lot of excitement among the Devil May Cry fans for Devil May Cry 5. The title’s director has now revealed that a playable demo of the title will be available at Gamescom 2018. It appears that attendees at the convention will be able to get their hands on the title which will be good for them as there’s going to be a long wait before this title is actually released.

Devil May Cry 5 is the direct sequel to Devil May Cry 4. That title was released back in 2008 so the latest addition to the franchise is coming a decade after the previous title. The fans are understandably excited to play the upcoming title.

Hideaki Itsuno, Devil May Cry 5 director, revealed on Twitter that a playable demo has been completed. The demo is going to be made public at the upcoming Gamescom convention. It’s going to be the first time that a playable demo of the title is opened to the public. It merits mentioning here that Itsuno was also the game director for Devil May Cry 4.

The Devil May Cry 5 release date has not yet been confirmed. Capcom has only said that Devil May Cry 5 is going to be released at some point in the spring next year. The title will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
