HBO Reveals First Glimpse At Final Game Of Thrones Season

Game of Thrones is undoubtedly one of the most popular shows on the planet and millions of fans across the globe are anxiously looking forward to the final season. HBO is yet to confirm precisely when the first part of the upcoming season will air but it did offer a slight glimpse of the final season in a promotional video highlighting its 2019 lineup.

You’ll have to look really closely at the video above to make out the glimpse that’s offered in this promotional reel. It includes footage from the most recent season as well in addition to a previously unseen scene from season 8 which shows Jon Snow embracing Sansa Stark.

While it may appear to some as old footage highlighting their reunion at Castle Black, it’s actually new footage from season 8 which shows that the two will be reunited at Winterfell. If you followed the previous season, at least you can rest assured that Jon Snow makes it back to Winterfell.

HBO hasn’t confirmed as yet when it will air the final season of Game of Thrones. What we do know is that the final six episodes will be aired in the first half of next year. Fans certainly can’t wait for the new season to arrive.
