Galaxy A9 Star Pro’s four cameras will look like this

Samsung once said it’s no longer obsessed with rushing to be first in the market, though that may have only been a fleeting thought. It also said it will be putting its innovations in its mid-range phones first and it seems to be dead serious about that. It has already revealed the Galaxy A7 (2018) with what is Samsung’s first … Continue reading

Apple’s Streaming Service Will Apparently Focus On Being ‘Clean’

We know that Apple has been working on a streaming service of its own, but when exactly it will launch remains to be seen. However the more important question is, who will be subscribing to it when it does launch? That is the more pertinent question because according to The Wall Street Journal, expect Apple’s streaming service to be squeaky clean.

The report claims that Apple is trying to broaden the appeal of its service, which means that they want to keep its shows as clean and family-friendly as possible. While we can’t fault Apple for that (since that’s also the direction that Disney is known for and has been pretty successful with it), perhaps Apple could be taking it too far.

For example there is a Dr. Dre semi-biopic called Vital Signs, which apparently Apple’s CEO Tim Cook had personally stepped in on when it was reportedly becoming “too violent”. The report also claims that previously Apple had courted creators with the promise that they would not need to censor their vision, but that has changed.

It also seems that not only is Apple trying to get rid of “gratuitous sex, profanity or violence,” they are also trying to avoid shows and content that are too political or has too much religion overtones. It remains to be seen if this family-friendly approach will work for Apple, but what do you guys think?

Logitech’s K600 TV Keyboard Will Help Control Your Smart TV

The problem with smart TVs is their lack of proper input controls. Sure, there is a remote control which is great for switching channels and adjusting the volume, but part of the appeal of a smart TV is its ability to do more, such as browse the web, watching streaming videos, and more, some of which will require a keyboard input.

If you’re the type that can’t stand to use the remote for typing in search items, then you’ll be pleased to learn that Logitech has since announced the K600 TV Keyboard. This is a keyboard designed for smart TVs and it will also come with a touchpad and a D-pad, meaning that you’ll get full control over your smart TV.

According to Logitech, “The keyboard includes an accurate touchpad and D-pad so you can really use the web browser of the TV, enter text to search for the content you want to watch, and navigate media content in your favorite video and streaming applications. With a 15-meter wireless range, the K600 TV Keyboard provides a reliable connection, even in the largest living rooms. Logitech Easy-Switch also makes it easy to curate your entertainment from multiple sources with the tap of a button, whether you want to type on a Smart TV, PC or mobile device.”

That being said, the keyboard might not necessarily work with all models. For those who are interested, you can check compatibility via Logitech’s website. If it does work with your model, the K600 will be also be available via Logitech’s website for $70.
