Chris Evans is the latest star to join Apple’s growing TV lineup. The actor, known for playing Captain America, will lead Defending Jacob, a limited series based on a 2012 novel by William Landay. The story centers on an attorney whose 14-year-old so…
Another misleadingly realistic image of a so-called “Google Pixel Ultra” is in the process of snapping up clicks across the web. This one’s using a previously leaked image of a Pixel 3 XL to act as a starting point for an edited final product. With an application like Photoshop, making one image into another – especially one like this – … Continue reading
Startup tech company Inboard has already made a name for itself with its M1 electric skateboard, and now it’s looking to take what it’s learned and apply that to an electric scooter. Today, Inboard introduced the Glider, which it says will be “most technologically advanced electric scooter on the market,” once it launches next year. That’s a big claim to … Continue reading
In this day and age, choosing a phone means either choosing between iOS or Android. This is because we are in the age of smartphones which means that feature phones are pretty much no longer thought about. However CAT seems to think that there is still a demand for such devices, and has since announced the CAT B35.
Despite this looking like a feature phone, the B35 actually comes with certain “smart” features, such as support for Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Search, and YouTube. In addition it has also been designed to take a beating and is MIL-810G compliant. This means that it can withstand extreme temperatures, humidity, vibrations, and is said to be shock-proof from drops up to 1.8m, and can survive going underwater to depths up to 1.2m for 35 minutes.
Other specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 chipset, a 2.4-inch display, 512GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a 2,300mAh battery. No word on pricing just yet but given that this is a feature phone we’re talking about, we don’t expect it to break the bank. Granted it’s not the most powerful phone we’ve seen, but given its rugged nature, there are probably some who might require it just for its phone capabilities and rugged nature.

Star Trek Enterprise C Metal Sculpture Boldy Goes Where All Knick-knacks Go
Posted in: Today's ChiliI’m not a fan of knick-knacks. They crowd everything and collect dust. I’m more a minimalist sort of guy. Give me simple lines and less stuff and I am happy. Still, I’d make an exception for this sweet U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C die-cast sculpture.
This particular sculpture comes from Eaglemoss Collections, and is based on the rare NCC-1701-C that appeared in the 1990 episode of The Next Generation, “Yesterday’s Enterprise.” It’s pretty cool, though I’d rather have the good old NCC-1701-D.
The sculpture is 10-inches long and comes with a display base. It also comes with a collector’s magazine featuring product artwork and the history of the ship and its design. Entertainment Earth will take your pre-order right now for March 2019 shipping. The statue and magazine will set you back $74.99 and untold amounts of time dusting.
Facebook Says It Will Stop Sending Employees to Help Political Campaigns In-Person
Posted in: Today's ChiliThe 2016 Presidential Election was undoubtedly the worst thing that’s ever happened to Facebook, and it’s doing everything it can to signal that it wants to avoid a repeat of that nightmare. On Thursday, it told reporters that it will stop dispatching employees to work directly with political campaigns.
Facebook has apparently decided keep its distance from political candidates’ campaigns going forward. According to Bloomberg and Reuters, the social network will no longer dispatch employees to serve as on-site support for nominees like it did for Pr…

Volkswagen’s electric Microbus has spawned a cute commercial cousin, with the I.D. BUZZ CARGO previewing VW’s vision of the urban workhorse of tomorrow. Based on the same Modular Electric Drive Kit (MEB) as the I.D. BUZZ concept, which the automaker plans to put into production from 2022, the van variant could actually beat it to the road. That’s because, while … Continue reading
When it comes to wearing a pair of headphones, often looking out for the most comfortable pair is right on top of many people’s priority list. However, there is also another fact to consider: is the headphones lightweight enough, and is it wireless? Given the hugely active lifestyle of the modern day road warrior, it makes perfect sense to live an untethered life, having a greater degree of freedom to work (and run) around without having to get entangled in a mess. Crazybaby has churned out a fair number of headphones before, but none of them will be able to measure up to their latest creation, the Crazybaby Air 1S.
Sporting an asking price of $159 a pop, the Crazybaby Air 1S is touted to deliver the most acoustically advanced and premium athletic wireless headphones in the market. Sporting an unprecedented degree of drop-free connectivity, the Air 1S has been completely redeveloped from ground up, strictly focused on being a sports-centric device that is set to bring up the name of the flagship range of Air wireless headphones.
At first glance, the Crazybaby Air 1S certainly pays homage to its roots through the clever use of carbon nanotube diaphragm technology which enables it to deliver crisp Hi-Fi sound, while embracing its award-winning, futuristic design. Athletes will be pleased to note that the Crazybaby Air 1S will sport an IPX6 sweat and rain resistant design, in addition to being competitively lightweight. Just how light is it? For starters, it will be as light as a piece of A4 paper, which will go a long way in ensuring a comfortable and secure fit for endurance athletes.
Not only that, it has 3D virtual surround sound that offers enhanced, richly layered audio, while sporting noise reduction technology that blocks out noise created by the wind; alongside enhanced bass for deeper and richer sounds. This does seem to be worth every penny if you are in the market for a pair of wireless headphones for your sporting needs.
