Crazybaby Air 1S set to rock and roll

crazybaby-air-1sWhen it comes to wearing a pair of headphones, often looking out for the most comfortable pair is right on top of many people’s priority list. However, there is also another fact to consider: is the headphones lightweight enough, and is it wireless? Given the hugely active lifestyle of the modern day road warrior, it makes perfect sense to live an untethered life, having a greater degree of freedom to work (and run) around without having to get entangled in a mess. Crazybaby has churned out a fair number of headphones before, but none of them will be able to measure up to their latest creation, the Crazybaby Air 1S.

Sporting an asking price of $159 a pop, the Crazybaby Air 1S is touted to deliver the most acoustically advanced and premium athletic wireless headphones in the market. Sporting an unprecedented degree of drop-free connectivity, the Air 1S has been completely redeveloped from ground up, strictly focused on being a sports-centric device that is set to bring up the name of the flagship range of Air wireless headphones.

At first glance, the Crazybaby Air 1S certainly pays homage to its roots through the clever use of carbon nanotube diaphragm technology which enables it to deliver crisp Hi-Fi sound, while embracing its award-winning, futuristic design. Athletes will be pleased to note that the Crazybaby Air 1S will sport an IPX6 sweat and rain resistant design, in addition to being competitively lightweight. Just how light is it? For starters, it will be as light as a piece of A4 paper, which will go a long way in ensuring a comfortable and secure fit for endurance athletes.

Not only that, it has 3D virtual surround sound that offers enhanced, richly layered audio, while sporting noise reduction technology that blocks out noise created by the wind; alongside enhanced bass for deeper and richer sounds. This does seem to be worth every penny if you are in the market for a pair of wireless headphones for your sporting needs.

Maktar’s Qubii charges the iPhone while performing an auto-backup

Maktar_QubiiWhile technology has advanced by a certain degree in the world of smartphone batteries, this has allowed smartphone manufacturers to cram in more and more features in order to take advantage of the greater battery capacity. All of which leads to the same issue time and again: running out of battery life way faster than one would have liked. A power bank is useful addition for the road warrior, but so is carrying around a charger on your travels. Maktar decided to make life more efficient for iPhone owners by working on the Qubii. The Qubii is a unique iPhone accessory, where it arrives in a small form factor that boasts of a far larger functionality. Specially designed to play nice with an existing Apple 5w power adapter and Lightning to USB cable, it tips the scales at all of just 16 grams.

With the form factor that is roughly similar to that of a standard campfire-sized marshmallow, the Qubii does not disappoint in terms of functionality. For starters, it performs the dual roles of auto backup while also charging the connected iPhone simultaneously. In other words, Qubii will get to work, saving your memorable experiences on the iPhone, ranging from photos to videos, social media and contact information.

Specially designed to ‘plug and play’ into the readily available Apple 5W USB Power Adapter (it will also be compatible with any other USB charging adapter for that matter), the $49.99 Qubii will enable anyone with an MFi certified Apple Lightning-to-USB cable to carry, use and forget about it in a jiffy. If there is one particular gripe about this, it is the fact that it is so small, you can lose it all too easily as well when traveling. However, for an iPhone accessory of this size with its functionality, there would be few, if any, rivals in the market when it concerns the Qubii.

Nintendo Switch NES Emulator Has Already Been Hacked

One of the perks of signing up with the Nintendo Switch Online service is that it gives players access to a library of NES games. These NES games are run using an emulator and as it turns out, the emulator has already been hacked which means that in theory, gamers will be able to download their own NES ROMs onto it.

The hack was discovered by a modder who goes by the name of KapuccinoHeck. According to them, apparently it is pretty easy to load up ROMs onto the emulator. This is because the ROM handles NES game files like plain .nes files, which means that manipulating these files will be easy enough.

Unfortunately according to KapuccinoHeck, this only works for Switch consoles that have already been hacked. Unfortunately hacking a Switch isn’t particularly easy and is time-consuming, meaning that this hack is more catered towards those who have already hacked their Switch, and it also serves as a proof-of-concept and points out a potential flaw in Nintendo’s system.

Maybe Nintendo will do something about it in the future, but for now we suggest that gamers not hack their Switches. This is because Nintendo has been banning gamers who have been found to run a hacked Switch, and given that Nintendo is seeking out software engineers with hacking expertise, we expect that these hacks will get harder in the future.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 PS4 Content Will Launch Only 7 Days Earlier

While we’re seeing more support for cross-play in recent times, console exclusives are still a thing, such is the case with Activision and Treyarch’s upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. However the good news is that if you’re not a PS4 gamer, the wait will be considerably shorter this time round.

According to a post on Activision’s website, the publisher has announced the Sony PS4 consoles will still be getting an exclusive lead in terms of post-release content. Previously non-PS4 gamers had to wait as long as 30 days before such content was released for them, but now it seems that they’ll only need to wait 7 days.

Activision writes, “Speaking of content, PlayStation 4 players will get to play new content first on PS4 by seven days. This means all the playable content coming to the Black Ops universe following launch will land seven days early on PS4, including new specialists and maps, as well as seasonal events. After seven days, all new playable content will come to other platforms.”

However given that this time the updates and releases are expected to be in smaller, bite-sized pieces rather than massive updates, it makes sense for the exclusive period to be shorter. That being said, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is currently set for a release on the 12th of October where it will be playable on the PS4, Xbox One, and the PC.
