There is a lot of anticipation for Devil May Cry 5. It’s the first proper addition to this popular franchise in years and fans are certainly very excited to see if it holds up to their expectations. The minimum and recommended PC specs for this title were confirmed recently and it has also been confirmed now that the title will hit 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on the PlayStation 4 Pro.
The confirmation of Devil May Cry 4K 60FPS on PS4 Pro comes from Capcom producer Matt Walker. He was asked on Twitter if the title will be able to hit these figures on Sony’s most powerful console. He replied in the affirmative.
Walker confirmed that Devil May Cry 5 will indeed be able to run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second on the PlayStation 4 Pro. It’s possible that the title may not run at native 4K on the console but this is still very impressive.
It was also confirmed recently by Capcom that Devil May Cry 5 is going to feature microtransactions. Players will be able to upgrade their characters without having to grind it through the game if they’re willing to spend real money.
Since Devil May Cry 5 is a purely single player game with no multiplayer component, players will not be at an advantage compared to others which is why Capcom has decided to allow them to speed up their upgrade progression in the game.
Devil May Cry 5 release is set for March 8th, 2019 or PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
