Soulcalibur VI Players Could Be Banned For Inappropriate Characters

Most arcade style fighting games are pretty standard where you pick a character and fight against another player who has chosen their own character. In some instances you get to customize your character with different costumes and skins, but with Soulcalibur VI, Bandai Namco has allowed players to create custom characters.

This has resulted in quite a number of creative character designs, some of which are impressive, while others are pretty NSFW. Bandai Namco seems to be aware of such creations and have stated that players who are caught playing with “inappropriate” characters will be banned.

We suppose there might be some who are wondering why offer these customizations in the first place? Given that Soulcalibur VI can be played offline and online, maybe the company doesn’t really care so much about your offline creations, but if the game is expected to be potentially taken seriously as a competitive eSports title, it’s not surprising that Bandai Namco wants to make it as family-friendly as possible.

That being said, custom characters do seem like a pretty fun take on a classic fighting franchise. The game has been released and is currently available on the PS4, the Xbox One, and also the PC for those who might be interested in checking it out.

Microsoft Office For macOS To Get A Dark Mode

The concept of dark and light themes aren’t exactly new and we have seen that applied to websites and apps in the past, although in recent times, it seems that there is a greater call/demand for such features. macOS Mojave introduced a dark mode which is applied across the OS and native Apple apps, but it did not necessarily apply to third-party apps.

For those who do enjoy macOS Mojave’s dark mode, you’ll be pleased to learn that Microsoft has confirmed that Office for macOS will be getting dark mode soon. This was revealed by Microsoft Office product manager Akshay Bakshi on Twitter who shared a video that showed dark mode for Office in action.

However it should be pointed out that right now dark mode for Office is currently only available for testers, meaning that for the most part it is still in beta. However it is expected to eventually become available for Office 365 subscribers once the feature has exited the beta and is ready for a public released.

For those who aren’t subscribed and who might have purchased the standalone Office 2019, it is unclear if dark mode will arrive for you guys as Microsoft did previously state that Office 2019 would be a one-time release that won’t receive feature updates.

Mycro pocket light has something for everybody

nebo-mycroHave you ever found yourself in a situation where you thought, “Boy, do I wish I had a torch or light source of some sort?” For the ladies, it would most probably happen when you are rummaging through your handbag during the girls’ night out, especially when you are at the cinema or at a club. The guys? Well, guys won’t need a reason to own a light source, as they can always think of different ways to amuse themselves with one especially when drunk. NEBO has come up with something unique that virtually everyone should have: the Mycro pocket light. After all, you can never quite tell just when you would actually require the services of such a tiny pocket light, especially during an urgent situation or in an emergency, right?

The Mycro is deemed to be an impossibly bright and unbelievably small pocket light. Just how small is it? Small enough to be easily misplaced, being roughly the size of a thumb. Despite its diminutive form factor, the Mycro pocket light is still able to pack in up to a whopping 400 lumens of brilliant bright light when you switch to Turbo mode. Needless to say, when it is in Turbo mode, the battery will drain faster than normal, but if you were to turn off Turbo mode, it is still more than capable of providing an adequate degree of brightness in order to help you search for whatever you are looking for, without taking up much space.

Touted to be an LED lighting technology breakthrough, NEBO claims that the Mycro pocket light is the smallest, most powerful flashlight available today. It is fully rechargeable (thankfully!) and boasts of half a dozen unique light modes. Two of these include low light color options (green and red). You can always opt to conceal in your hand, fit on a key ring or in a purse, thanks to the accompanying lanyard and a stainless steel necklace. The Mycro pocket light will retail for $29.95 a pop, arriving in Red, Black or Silver colors with an accompanying one year warranty.
