Going wireless has been the mantra for quite some time now among device manufacturers, and it makes perfect sense. Wireless charging gets rid of having to tote around a pesky cable, while having a pair of wireless earphones allows you to move about freely while enjoying your music without missing a beat. While there are numerous models to pick from in the market, premium audio company Master & Dynamic decided to up the ante with its classy MW07 True Wireless Earphones.
I am not quite sure how one can define a pair of these as being “true” wireless headphones, but perhaps this is just a marketing stance taken by the company. What we do know is this: you will need to fork out a rather hefty sum to the tune of $299. Available in four initial colorways: Tortoiseshell, Steel Blue, Grey Terrazzo, and Matte Black, each individual pair of MW07’s will be accompanied by an elegant stainless steel charging case. Made up of premium materials such as handcrafted acetate and stainless steel in addition to 10mm Beryllium drivers, brings together both high tech and high design.
Audiophiles will fall in love with the couple of patent-pending technologies that ensure best-in-class Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, superior comfort and a personalized fit. Despite carrying all of these within, they are stored in a slim, close to the ear form factor for a sleek looking design. The custom 10mm beryllium drivers used happens to be a kind of metal that is traditionally used only in hi-fi products, while optical sensors detect in-ear placement in order to figure out whether to play sound or pause when the earphones are removed from the user’s ears.
In addition, the presence of an innovative, detachable silicone “fit wing” that will arrive in a couple of sizes, apart from five ear tip sizes, will ensure the earphones can be comfortably and securely fitted to any ear. All that it takes is a single gesture to place the MW07 in the ear from its case. Capable of up to 3.5 hours of battery life with a full charge, the elegant hand-polished stainless-steel charging case carries another extra 10.5 hours of listening time.

2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV
French automaker PSA has announced that it’s going to launch a new car sharing service in Washington DC by the end of this month. For those who are unaware, PSA makes vehicles under the Peugeot and Citroen brands. A senior company executive has confirmed today that its car sharing service will launch in the country’s capital later this month.
Brigitte Courtehoux, the director of mobility services at PSA, confirmed during the Paris Motor Show that PSA is going to use 600 Chevrolet cars in Washington as its fleet for the service. It’s obviously far from the only company to launch such a service in the country.
The company has also been working on launching a car sharing service in Paris. It aims to launch a free floating service in the city which will enable drivers to pick up an electric car at one location and drop it at another as per their convenience.
No further details about PSA’s upcoming service are available at this point in time. It’s unclear how much access to the cars in the Washington fleet is going to cost. PSA’s expansion plans for the service are unknown right now as well so it can’t be said when this service will be expanded to other cities in the United States.

Want to buy that leather jacket your favorite TV detective was wearing? Sony wants to make it easier for you to locate and purchase said jacket. The company has teamed up with Connekt to add in-program shopping to its TVs and Blu-ray players.
This partnership immediately brings Connekt’s ShopTV app through Sony’s app store on its smart televisions. It will later extend to “in-program purchasing” through voice-controlled shopping. What this means is that viewers will be able to purchase items soon after they see them on TV. That’s not really going to be helpful for impulse shoppers now, is it?
Connekt’s ShopTV apps provides access to countless items that are available through major retailers like Best Buy and Macy’s. The app will be compatible with many of Sony’s smart TVs from 2013 and later. The app experience is fully customized for the connected home experience.
The company’s research shows that more than 75 percent of consumers would directly buy products from their TV if they had the opportunity. That’s in addition to the 70 percent who expressed their intent to use voice to buy products through the TV.
“Our collaboration with Connekt allows us to offer owners of select Sony Smart TVs the ability to engage and shop directly from the biggest screen in their home,” said Sony VP of Business and Development Nick Colsey.
