Spotify is one of the best music streaming services out there. While it is mostly being used on iPhone and Android devices, Spotify has a web player which does not require you to download the program itself.

The process is obviously pretty seamless.

1. Visit open.Spotify.com
2. Log in to your Spotify account
3. Boom. You can now listen to your favorite Spotify playlist without having to download the Mac or PC program

Spotify Web’s user interface is pretty similar to the desktop app. It goes without saying that the web version lacks a few of the features and conveniences that are available on the app.

That includes, as a free subscriber not being able to stream at 160kbps but at just 128kbps. Similarly, as a premium subscriber, you don’t have access to 320kbps stream, and instead, you get a moderate 256kbps.

In addition to the above, as far as premium users are concerned, offline downloading is not available via the web player.
