Horror Indie Five Nights At Freddy’s Will Be Coming To Consoles

Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNaF) is an indie horror survival game that has managed to win the hearts of many gamers. The game pretty much only existed on the PC as well as mobile devices such as those running on iOS and Android, but the good news for console players is that the game will now be headed to your platform.

In an announcement on Steam, FNaF’s creator Scott Cawthon has confirmed that the game is being ported over to consoles such as the PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. According to Cawthon’s post, “I’m working closely with the people at Clickteam to create new, improved, HD ports of all of the original games! They will be released on Android, iOS, Switch, XBox and PlayStation!”

However the post states that the project is only 20% complete which means that it could be a while until the console version of the game has been released, so gamers will have to remain patient. It should be noted that this isn’t the first time the idea of FNaF being ported to console has been floated.

Cawthon had previously stated that ports for consoles were in the works, but due to “concerns about the deal”, he decided to call it off.

Fossil Sport smartwatch gets a redesign

fossil-sportWhen it comes to smartwatches, there is a growing number of models that not only work great, but they look elegant and understated as well. Fossil has just added another member to their smartwatch family with the introduction of the Fossil Sport Smartwatch. It will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform and run on the newly redesigned Wear OS by Google, enabling it to offer a slew of new technology features such as extended battery life, a new battery saving mode, enhanced ambient mode, integrated heart rate, NFC, and GPS capabilities.

The design itself is extremely lightweight, and the accompanying colorful silicone straps add to its playful nature. Of course, aesthetics is one thing, but we are primarily more concerned with the kind of technology which is embedded underneath the hood, and we would come away impressed. In short, the Fossil Sport has been specially constructed to be your companion in achieving a balanced lifestyle regardless of the healthy activity pursued.

The Fossil Sport will arrive with six colorways, a couple of case sizes (41 and 43 mm respectively), and endless strap options. The new nylon and aluminum case would make the Fossil Sport the lightest smartwatch to date, and a 350mAh battery will certainly see it chug along longer than usual. With the latest Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform, the Fossil Sport will offer a full smartwatch experience with more than a full day of use. A new battery saving mode will add an additional two days of telling time, and you can have an improved user experience–select dials which will leverage the new platform to showcase color and a sweeping second hand for a more dynamic style.

It is nice to note that the Fossil Sport has an integrated sensor that processes heart rate, while enabling optimized connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC capabilities. It takes around an hour to juice it up thanks to rapid charging technology, and the asking price of $255 makes it an extremely reasonable bargain.

Someone Paid For An iPhone XS In Russia With A Bathtub Full Of Coins

Apple’s new iPhone XS appears to be doing quite well. iPhones are more than just smartphones in some circles. They are often regarded as symbols of wealth and status. The iPhone is a highly desired smartphone globally for that reason as well. An iPhone XS customer in Russia decided to make his purchase of the device memorable by paying for it with a bathtub full of coins.

Ludmila Semushina, head of an authorized Apple reseller in Russia, posted about this story on her Facebook account. The customer actually came in with a group of men because that many people were required to carry the bathtub full of coins.

They had around 100,000 Russian rubles in the tub which is just over $1,400. That’s what the iPhone XS with 256GB of storage costs in the country. Since coins are legal tender, they technically didn’t do anything wrong by paying with so many coins that the store clerk would have required considerable time to count.

It’s a fun little prank that these people did. However, if you’re someone who works at an Apple store or reseller, you’d probably be wishing that you don’t end up being the person who wants to pay for their iPhone with just coins.
