OnePlus Introduces New ‘OnePlus Roaming’ Program

OnePlus is a company that many of you might be familiar with as the maker of smartphones. However it seems that the company is starting to branch out beyond just hardware and is looking to expand into mobile services as well. This is according to the latest beta software for the OnePlus 6 in which it seems that OnePlus could be offering roaming services its users.

Dubbed “OnePlus Roaming”, this feature has been described as, “OnePlus Roaming lets you surf the internet without a local SIM card. It’s like a virtual sim (only data, no calls); it should work globally in most of the countries/regions, and it will list out the plans available for the country/regions you are in so that you can purchase a suitable plan and access the Internet without a SIM.”

It actually sounds like a pretty cool feature because when you travel and you want to use local internet, you will need to buy a new SIM card. Alternatively you might also have to purchase a roaming plan from your carrier which could be more expensive and less value for money, so this method is more efficient as it will not require you to swap out SIMs.

However as OnePlus notes, this only applies for data so you won’t be able to make regular calls or send SMS, and also because it doesn’t use a physical SIM, it might not necessarily be applicable to all countries you visit, so your mileage may vary.

Street Fighter V To Get Some Resident Evil Costumes

One of the ways we’ve seen fighting games evolved over the years is that many seem to go beyond offering just different colors of existing costumes/uniforms, and are releasing proper costumes for characters. Capcom’s Street Fighter V has been on the receiving end of various costume options, and now it looks like gamers will have more options to choose from.

This is according to a recent announcement by Capcom in which they revealed that Resident Evil costumes will be coming to the game. These costumes will be available for Urien, Cammy, and Kolin, where they will be able to change their looks to look more like Wesker, Jill, and Ada respectively.

In addition to these Resident Evil costumes, Capcom has also decided to get into the festive spirit of things by announcing new Christmas themed costumes as well. These will be available for Blanka, Cody, Falke, and Sakura. These costumes are priced at $3.99 each and will be available for purchase starting on the 27th of November, so if you like what you see (see videos above and below), they might be worth checking out.

Previously Capcom had also released Monster Hunter themed costumes for the game, while also bringing some Street Fighter characters to Monster Hunter World.
