Tamashii Nations Meisho Manga Realization Kabukimono Deadpool Figure: Samuraipool

I’m a Deadpool fan and have often thought I’d like to see him turn up in other films like The Last Samurai or shows like The Walking Dead. I mean, Deadpool would be great at fighting feudal warlords and slicing the heads off zombies with those swords. If you ever though Deadpool would make a good samurai, you can live that dream with this action figure.

Designed by Takayuki Takeya, the Tamashii Nations Meisho Manga Realization Kabukimono Deadpool action figure is here to kick some serious ass. It has a super long name, but the action figure is very cool. The 8″ tall Deadpool has the swords on his back we know and love, as well as a pair of muskets on his sides.

You get four arms, two katanas, two guns, two weapon holsters, and three interchangeable eye parts, including two eyes that look like hearts. I don’t think Deadpool would like feudal Japan; they didn’t have chimichangas. Maybe he could change to spring rolls. You can grab the figure over on Amazon for just about $60.

Study shows 100% insect extinction in 100 years

We are, right now, headed down a road that leads to this planet’s 6th mass extinction. It’s not inevitable, but it is highly likely, and it’s not particularly likely that we’ll be able to avoid massive loss of life over the next few hundred years. A study published this week added to previous assertions that we’re headed toward global trouble, … Continue reading

Google Working On Chrome Dark Mode For Phones Too

It was reported not too long ago that Google is developing a dark mode for the Windows and Mac versions of its Chrome browser. Turns out, the company is doing that for the mobile versions as well. The Chrome 73 beta for Android includes a dark mode which suggests that this feature will eventually be released for the mobile versions in the future.

The report does mention that the dark mode in Chrome 73 beta for Android is in very early stages of development right now. Those who are running the beta version will only find out that it’s there if they long press on a link or image and that too only if they have Android Pie’s native Dark Mode setting toggled to Always On.

There are some cosmetic issues that need to be addressed as well. It’s pertinent to mention here that not features that appear in the beta version make the cut and roll out in a stable reason. However, dark mode is a frequently requested feature from users and it’s one that most users can get behind.

With Google testing it for both desktop and mobile platforms now, it appears that the company has made its mind to offer a proper dark mode in its popular internet browser at last.
