Some may consider last year’s MWC to have been bordering on boring but this year promises to be anything but. Of course, there’s the promise of foldable phones and at least two button-less, seamless phones. But going beyond those, there are also the likes of the Nokia 9 PureView to make heads turn. Teased by HMD Global itself and now … Continue reading

Germany lets users decide if Facebook can merge their WhatsApp and Instagram data
Posted in: Today's ChiliGermany is known for its no-nonsense approach to digital data gathering — back in 2016 it took a hard stance against Facebook’s use of WhatsApp data, and more recently announced its plans to investigate the Google+ data exposure. Now, its anti-trust…
Samsung has confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy S10 will be officially launched on the 20th of February. However there is the question of when will the phone be available for pre-order? Turns out pretty soon after the announcement, at least according to a tweet by Reza Naufal where a poster for the event revealed that pre-orders could begin on the 21st of February.
The image of the poster shows the phone will be announced on the 21st of February, but note that this is probably because the date is for Southeast Asia which is about a day ahead of Samsung’s Unpacked event. It also lists the pre-order date as the 22nd of February, which taking into consideration the time difference, means the 21st of February for those living stateside.
No word on pricing just yet, although if previously leaked pricing is any indication, the phones will not come cheap, not even the alleged budget model. In fact the rumors of a 1TB Galaxy S10+ model are saying that it will be downright expensive, so maybe now it’s a good time to start saving up your money for it.
The rumors are claiming that we can expect at least three variations of the Galaxy S10, where one will be the budget/lite model, while the other will be the regular version of the Galaxy S10, and the other will be the Galaxy S10+. There are rumors of a 5G Galaxy S10, but whether or not we’ll see that announced is unclear.

Conservative Columnist Reality-Checks Trump With Sizzling Summary Of Presidency

AIchan and GONta are the world’s latest comedy duo. These two funny robots were created by a lab at Japan’s Konan University and use an AI program to respond to one another and tell jokes. They do Japanese stand-up comedy routines, which usually involves a “straight man” and a “funny man” who trade jokes back and forth based on misunderstandings, puns, gags, and wordplay. You know, like Abbot and Costello, Laurel and Hardy, and other classic acts who bring the funny.
One is even tall while the other is short and fat. Classic comedy formula there. The robots use an AI program to search for information on topics and spontaneously put together their show. That AI also no doubt will make them divas as their stardom grows. Now, all we need is a robot agent that will take 10% of their power for every gig it books.
Are they funny? I have no idea since I don’t speak Japanese. Perhaps one of our readers can tell us. They don’t look all that funny to me. I hope they can at least clean the floor like a Roomba while they are doing their show. Funny or not, my floors need to be cleaned. And that ain’t no joke.
