There are quite a few original shows that Netflix has received a lot of praise for and Stranger Things is one of them. It shot to instant popularity when it first came out and so far, the online streaming giant has released two seasons. A new season is due to come out soon and Netflix has now released the first Stranger Things 3 trailer.
It brings back many of the familiar faces from the series and shows that there’s going to be plenty of mystery and monsters to go around in the new season.
The three-minute long trailer has plenty of action to show us and it also brings back members of the entire gang that fans of the show are already familiar with. The trailer kicks things off with a homecoming party for Dustin that’s set to the 1985 power ballad Home Sweet Home by Mötley Crüe.
It doesn’t take long before all the fun and games end as the darkness lurks ever so close. Fans of the franchise have obviously been very excited to see how the story is going to progress in the upcoming season. They will have to wait for a while, though, as Stranger Things season 3 won’t be arriving on Netflix before July 4th.

Audi is making its premium Silvercar rental service a bit more convenient for customers in select locations in San Francisco and New York City. They will now be able to schedule pick up and delivery of their vehicle either to their residential address or to a location of their choice for an extra fee.
Pick up and delivery of vehicle will be possible for Audi Silvercar users if the intended location is in Manhattan at 42nd Street, Downtown Brooklyn, Williamsburg Brooklyn, and Columbus Circle in New York City or Union Square in San Francisco. Audi has added this option to its Silvercar service following the expansion of the fleet with the company’s premium Q7 SUV.
Those who are now interested in having their vehicle delivered or picked up in the aforementioned location can place a request for the additional service through the Silvercar app or via the service’s website. Customers in these locations will thus no longer have to go to a Silvercar by Audi location to rent an Audi A4, Q5, A5 or Q7.
The requests for pick up and delivery have to be submitted at least 24 hours in advance of the rental. Audi cautions that this feature is dependent on vehicle availability and it cannot guarantee the fulfillment of all requests.

Google Is Banning VPN Ads In China
Posted in: Today's Chili
China maintains a tight grip on the internet in its country. VPNs are used to bypass such restrictions and access the open internet but they’re not allowed in the country. To that end, Google has been banning ads for VPN products that target users in China.
VPN and online proxies aren’t welcome in the country. Corporations are allowed use but the VPN companies that operate in the country are required to receive an authorization from the Chinese government. The government has previously forced Apple to remove all VPN apps from its App Store in China almost two years ago.
“It is currently Google Ads policy to disallow promoting VPN services in China, due to local legal restrictions,” the company said in an email. The email was sent by Google to a website which provides reviews of different VPN services. It says that Google did not allow them to place search ads for the Chinese version of its site.
Google’s email added that there is “no certification or approval process” for the issue which means that there’s no other way for the website to get permission to serve those ads in China. What remains unclear is whether this ad ban for VPN products is a result of a decision that Google made itself or upon a request from officials in China.

Drunk and distracted driving still causes a lot of road accidents many of which often prove to be fatal. Volvo is looking to prevent that. The company said today that it’s going to use cameras installed inside its vehicles to monitor driver behavior and intervene if it seems like the driver is either distracted or drunk. It goes without saying that this move will be a cause for concern for privacy advocates.
The in-car cameras in Volvo vehicles will be monitoring eye movements to measure driver distraction and/or intoxication. Details about the exact number of cameras and their position in the interior will be revealed later.
If the driver looks away for some time to check their smartphone, for example, or fails to keep their hands on the steering wheel, they will receive a call from Volvo’s on-call assistance centers.
Drivers who don’t keep their eyes on the road or have their eyes closed will receive a call to check in as well. If the drivers don’t respond, the car will be slowed down and eventually stopped remotely. Volvo says that this system will be rolled out to all of its vehicles by early 2020.
“When it comes to safety, our aim is to avoid accidents altogether rather than limit the impact when an accident is imminent and unavoidable,” said Henrik Green, SVP for research and development at Volvo. The company hasn’t clarified certain aspects of this system such as whether the video footage from the in-car cameras will be stored and for how long, and whether or not law enforcement will have access to it.

The appearance of moralizing gods in religion occurred after—and not before—the emergence of large, complex societies, according to new research. This finding upturns conventional thinking on the matter, in which moralizing gods are typically cited as a prerequisite for social complexity.
