Cuphead For Nintendo Switch Releases April 18th

Cuphead, a title much appreciated for its difficulty, is now heading over to the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo confirmed at the Game Developers Conference today that the game is coming to its console. The Switch port includes the same hand-drawn cell animation and soundtrack that was loved by console owners in the original release.

Nintendo has also confirmed that Cuphead will have support for Xbox Live at launch. The company has teamed up with StudioMDHR to bring Xbox Live features beyond Xbox and PC to the Nintendo Switch. The studio already has experience with Xbox Live beyond the console as Cuphead is available on Windows 10 as well with Xbox Live.

“Yes, this means that fans will now have the opportunity to experience StudioMDHR’s award-winning debut game on Nintendo Switch with Xbox Live!,” the company wrote on Xbox Wire, adding that it will be working with StudioMDHR to implement Xbox Live features into Cuphead on the Nintendo Switch over the next few months.

It does mention that given the early stage of the work with the studio, Xbox Live features will arrive in a post-launch update for Cuphead on the Switch. Nintendo Switch owners will be able to get their hands on Cuphead starting April 18th. They can pre-order it through Nintendo starting today.

Apple’s AirPower Charging Mat May Finally Ship Soon

Apple announced its AirPower mat in September 2017. The company said at that time that the product would be released in 2018. We didn’t hear much about AirPower from Apple throughout the entire year. The lack of information led some to speculate whether Apple had quietly canceled the product. Recent reports have suggested that Apple may release the accessory soon and they’re backed up today by the Wall Street Journal.

It was previously reported that Apple was facing some development issues with AirPower which is why it had to delay the release. They must have been significant because it has taken the company over a year to sort things out. Or perhaps the product was put on the backburner while the company focused on more important things.

The scribe reports that due to “product-development challenges,” Apple delayed the release of its AirPower charging mat. These challenges have now been addressed and it’s said that Apple approved mass production of the accessory earlier this year.

If the information is accurate, it would suggest that the company might finally release the AirPower mat soon. Several other reports have also suggested a spring 2019 launch. The company has launched several new products this week such as iPads and even new AirPods. Perhaps we might see it release AirPower as well before its March 25 TV event.

Belei Is Amazon’s Very Own Skincare Line

It’s not uncommon for Amazon to start selling products that have become popular on its massive retail platform on its own. Skincare products drive a considerable chunk of online sales and Amazon wants in on the action as well. That’s why it has now introduced its very own skincare line called Belei. It’s not Amazon Belei, mind you, because the company’s name is conspicuously absent from the packaging.

The company sent out a press release today confirming that Belei is a “line of high-quality skincare products” which provide solutions for different skin types and are made from ingredients that have “proven effectiveness.”

The Belei line includes 12 different items which range from retinol moisturizer to facial wipes and multi-purpose serums. These products will help customers address common skin care concerns such as acne, fine lines, dark spots, and wrinkles.

Amazon points out that all Belei products are free of sulfates, phthalates, parabens, and fragrance. They have not been tested on animals. The product bottles are made from post-consumer recycled resin while the carton packaging is 100 percent recyclable.

All Belei products are eligible for free shipping which includes unlimited free two-day shipping with Amazon Prime. The full collection is listed at the dedicated Amazon page for Belei. Prices start at $9 for the wipes and go up to $40 for the serums.
