Huawei’s P30 Series Might Not Come Cheap

Our smartphones these days are increasing in prices and if you’re hoping that the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will change that, think again. According to a report from WinFuture.de, it seems that the upcoming P30 will be priced at 749 Euro, while the P30 Pro will be priced starting at 999 Euro for the base model, but will go up to 1,099 Euro for the 256GB model.

However the good news is that Huawei could be tossing in quite a few freebies. For example one of the freebies included is a fast wireless charger valued at 60 Euro. The other is a Sonos One speaker valued at 230 Euro, but whether or not these freebies are for all markets or limited to Europe remains to be seen, so customers will just have to wait to see when the phone launches in their market.

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro is expected to be announced on the 26th of March at the company’s event in Paris. The phones will represent Huawei’s flagship phone for the year, or at least until later in the year where the company will most likely launch the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro smartphones.

Huawei had also previously taken the wraps off its Huawei Mate X foldable phone which is priced at over $2,000. The company will be releasing the phone later this year.

Motorola Could Have A Smartphone Powered By Samsung’s Exynos Chipset

Samsung has their own chipsets in the form of the Exynos range. However for the most part, these Exynos chipsets have been exclusive to Samsung devices, but if recent benchmarks are to be believed, Motorola could be working on a handset that is powered by Samsung’s Exynos chipset.

This is according to a sighting on Geekbench (via PhoneArena) in which a phone dubbed the Moto P40 was sighted powered by the Exynos 9610. If the branding sounds familiar, it is because the P40 is largely expected to be the sequel to the P30 launched in China last year. We had also previously spotted renders of the phone back in 2018.

The rumors are also claiming that the phone could find its way to the US where it might actually be rebranded as the Motorola One Vision. The benchmarks have also “confirmed” that the phone might come with 6GB of RAM, and based on leaked renders, it will also be packing a dual camera on the back and will utilize the hole-punch design.

It’s quite rare to see non-Samsung phones using an Exynos processor so it’s probably best to take these benchmarks with a grain of salt for now until we can get some kind of official confirmation.
