Resident Evil Switch Ports Are More Expensive

Recently it was confirmed that Capcom will be releasing more Resident Evil titles onto the Nintendo Switch platform. This includes Resident Evil HD Remaster, Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 4 which are expected to be made available on the 21st of May. These are obviously not new titles and are actually ports of older games.

As such we expect that they will not be priced like a triple-A game at $60. However it turns out that despite them being ports, they aren’t cheap either. The games will be priced at $29.99 each and it seems that there will not be an option to purchase them in a bundle (which is usually cheaper or comes with added bonuses).

This means that players who want to play all three titles will need to fork out $100. This is versus other platforms that the games are available on, such as the PS4 and Xbox One where the titles are sold at $19.99 each. We’re not sure why Capcom has decided to tack on a $10 premium for the Switch version of the game considering that it is essentially the same game, but unfortunately players who want to play it won’t really have much of choice but to pay if they want to play.

Elon Musk Expects A Cheaper Tesla In The Next Few Years

While we’re sure that there are probably a few out there who would be more than happy to adopt an electric car, the costs of such vehicles tends to be on the pricier side. Tesla’s cars are a perfect example, although the company has been trying to find ways of reducing the price through more affordable models like the $35,000 Model 3.

However in case the Model 3’s price tag is still a little out of your price range, not to worry because according to Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk, he has revealed that the company has plans to introduce even more affordable models. In a call with the media, Musk stated that the company plans on launching an even cheaper Tesla in the next 2-3 years.

Exactly how much cheaper it will be remains to be seen, but this is good news for those who want to own a Tesla or an electric car in general. We also expect that as technology improves, the costs of electric cars will also go down so Tesla might not be alone in introducing more affordable models for those looking to own a more sustainable car.

In the meantime there was a previous report that Tesla’s Model 3 costs the company $38,000 to make, meaning that at a price of $35,000, the company won’t be profiting off it.

Xbox Boss Teases PC Gaming Announcement For E3

Microsoft will once again have a big presence at the annual E3 gaming convention and earlier reports claim that the next-gen Xbox hardware codenamed “Lockhart” and “Anaconda” could be unveiled at the event. Microsoft’s Xbox boss Phil Spencer has hinted that there might be some PC gaming announcements made at E3 2019 as well.

“First priority is delivering a new Store experience for games that factors in all of our learnings from past challenges on the PC,” Spencer said in an interview with PC Gamer, adding that the company will share more details about its plans for this soon. Whether or not these changes involve switching up the mostly exclusive distribution of Microsoft’s first-party games through the Windows Store only remains to be seen.

Spencer’s comments suggest that the company will have more to talk about this at E3 2019 which is understandable. There might be additional announcements aimed at improving the gaming experience for PC owners. “At E3 this year, and throughout 2019, you’ll begin to see where we’ve been investing to deliver across Store, services, in Windows and in great games,” Spencer added.

The 2019 Electronic Entertainment Expo is going to take place on June 11th and run through June 14th at the Los Angeles Convention Center in L.A., California.
