Currently, when it comes to not getting pregnant, the burden falls almost entirely on women. That’s why researchers from the Georgia Institute of Technology want women to have the…

Multi-view streaming is already a big deal in live sports but it was much more suited to multiplayer gaming. Twitch is looking to switch things up by announcing a new feature called Squad Stream. The feature allows up to four streamers to broadcast their gameplay together in the same window.
With Squad Stream, up to four creators can go live and stream together in one window. This is a more hands-on way to collaborate unlike hosting or Raids as Squad Stream allows streamers to actively team up with other creators so that everyone in a channel can benefit. Creators can team up from the dashboard and stream content that they normally wouldn’t stream.
This would allow them to grow their communities at the same time. On the other hand, viewers get to see the action from more angles and easily support more of their favorite creators. Twitch is celebrating the launch of Squad Stream with several four-person streams over the next few weeks with a variety of partners. The full list of these streams can be found on the company’s blog.
The Squad Stream feature is available for Partners first. Those who are eligible will be able to start a Squad Stream from their dashboard right away. Viewers can opt-in to the Squad Stream right from the creators’ channel page.

It can often be stressful to drive in a new city that you’re not familiar with. Having to search for parking can only add to that so global car rental brand Avis is looking to take the pain out of that. It has teamed up with Arrive, a mobility solutions company, to enable customers to find a parking place for their rental from within its app.
Customers can already book an Avis rental through the company’s app. It also provides additional features such as remote car locking. The Arrive integration expands the functionality of the app further. Arrive’s services are already widely used in cities across the United States and Canada by businesses.
Avis customers in the United States will now be able to instantly find parking spaces through the app. The Arrive integration will also allow them to book and pre-pay for parking. All parking-related expenditures are applied directly to the customer’s credit card associated with that rental.
This would help save time and take the stress out of trying to find parking at a place that they have just driven to for the very first time. This functionality is available to all Avis users in the United States right away.

There are quite a few companies that are working on electric and hybrid passenger aircraft. They include startups and behemoths like Boeing, NASA, and Uber. However, there’s another company which is taking a big step in this direction, and it happens to be Harbour Airlines. It’s the largest seaplane airline in North America.
Harbour Airlines has announced that it’s converting all of its seaplanes into electric aircraft. It will do that by replacing the current conventional engines with electric motors from magniX that are capable of producing 750 horsepower.
The airline will start this conversion procedure first with its six passenger DHC-2 de Havilland Beaver. The converted aircraft will be tested later this year and if nothing goes wrong, the company will go ahead with converting the entire fleet.
It will be possible for the airline to operate its business on electric motors given that it largely operates short hops between cities. They’re usually under 1,000 miles between hubs like Seattle and Vancouver, Canada. Harbour Air operates more than 30,000 commercial flights every year, carrying more than 500,000 passengers. The aviation industry contributes 12 percent of all U.S. and 4.9 percent of all global carbon emissions. Such changes will go a long way in bringing down those figures.
