Netflix subscribers will be excited to hear that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is coming to the streaming service. The company officially confirmed today when they will be able to stream this title on-demand. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be available on Netflix starting late next month.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is based on the origin of Miles Morales who finds out that he’s not the only one capable of slinging web. Other characters from the multiverse are present as well, they include Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, Spider-Ham, Spider-Man Noir, and more.
For those who are still unaware, this isn’t a new Spider-Man live action movie. It’s actually an animated film and it has been very well received ever since it came out. It has even picked up the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film.
Therefore, the animated film provides the viewer with a completely different experience than they would expect from a live action movie. Those who are looking forward to the live action movie need not worry, Spider-Man: Far From Home is due to hit the big screen in the near future.
Netflix confirmed today that its subscribers will be able to stream Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse on-demand starting June 26th.
