When Apple introduced the new MacBook laptop a few years ago, they also introduced the new butterfly keyboard mechanism. It was supposed to offer up a better typing experience, but so far user experiences with it have been anything but. In fact, there have been many reports of users who claim that their keyboards have malfunctioned since.
Apple had previously launched a repair program for eligible devices, but according to a report from The Loop, it seems that Apple’s keyboard repair program has since been extended to cover all laptops that uses its butterfly switches, and yes, despite Apple claiming to have made changes to the keyboard in the newly-launched MacBook Pro, those will be covered as well.
This repair program will repair your keyboard for free even if your MacBook computer is no longer under warranty. It is a bit disappointing to see that despite it having been a few years, Apple has yet to get something as simple as a keyboard right. Many posts by MacBook owners have lamented the fact that the previous-gen keyboard was actually quite a joy to type on, versus the new butterfly keyboard.
Apple had previously claimed that only a small percentage of users are encountering issues with their keyboard, and if you are one of them, then you can take Apple up on their offer to fix your keyboard.

Back in the early days of video games, there was a particular title produced by Sony on the original PlayStation by the name of Twisted Metal. For gamers who have been playing games long enough, you might be familiar with this title, and you also might be interested to learn that Sony has recently confirmed that the franchise is being developed into a TV series.
This was confirmed during an investor relations presentation where Sony Pictures Entertainment Chairman and CEO Tony Vinciquerra was quoted as saying, “We have a TV show we just agreed to get underway that will be developed from the IP on PlayStation, it’s called Twisted Metal. It’s a game that was put out many years ago and we’re going to develop a TV series around that.”
He does not mention any other details about the series, such as who will be directing it, who will be writing the script, who are the cast, and most important of all, when will it be released. However, the fact that a series is being made is pretty exciting on its own. This is because of the nature of the game which is vehicular combat, which we suppose for a slightly more modern reference, you could think of it as being similar to the Death Race movie, or maybe a more violent version of Rocket League.
The latest Twisted Metal title was released back in 2012 and there were talks about it being made into a movie as well, but that never happened.

If you’ve enjoyed The Sims franchise and have yet to play The Sims 4, then you’ll be pleased to learn that EA has announced that the game will now be free to play for the PC if you were to get it through the company’s Origin game store. However, you should probably hurry because it seems that this offer is only good until the 28th of May, 2019.
We should point out that the free version of the game will only contain just that, the base version of it. If you were hoping to get the other DLCs that were released after the game, then you’ll have to pay for that. The Standard version is being offered for free, while the Digital Deluxe Edition with all of its DLCs will be priced at $56.90.
This includes the Awesome Animal Hats Digital Content, Life of the Party Digital Content. Up All Night Digital Content, and The Sims 4 Digital Soundtrack. The game was previously released back in 2014 which means that it’s probably ripe for a sequel. So far EA has kept mum on whether we’ll be seeing The Sims 5, but in the meantime, if you’d like to take The Sims 4 for a spin for free to see if the DLCs might be worth purchasing, head on over to the Origin store for the free download.
