It was reported that Motorola would be coming out with a new smartphone soon and that’s precisely what the company has done today. It has announced the Moto Z4 which is more of a mid-range smartphone than a full-fledged flagship. It does, however, have Moto Mod support which means that it will be possible to attach a 5G mod to the device.
The Moto Z4 is powered by a Snapdragon 675 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage with microSD support. The handset features a 6.4 inch 1080p OLED display with a 48 megapixel rear and 25 megapixel front camera in addition to a 3,600mAh battery.
The display is almost edge-to-edge so the bezels are minimal while there’s also an optical fingerprint sensor under the display itself. It runs Android 9 Pie and does indeed feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.
All of the Moto Mods that were released since the original Moto Z hit the market will work with this device. It have support for the 5G Moto Mod which Verizon is going to sell for $200. The handset itself will cost $10 per month over 24 months on Verizon for a limited time on new activations.
There’s going to be an unlocked version available through retailers like Amazon and Best Buy for $499 which is a bundle that includes the 360 degree camera as well. The Moto Z4 goes on sale June 13th on Verizon while it’s available for pre-order starting today.

Did you ever imagine you’d see a Ferrari being plugged into an outlet at a charging station right next to a Nissan Leaf? You might see that happen sooner than you might think. The iconic Italian car manufacturer has unveiled its first plug-in hybrid. It’s called the SF90 Stradale and it can go from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds.
Ferarri is far from the only supercar manufacturer combining the best in the combustion engine and electric motor technology. Many of its rivals have long been doing that so it’s nice to see that Ferrari is now jumping on the bandwagon as well.
The SF90 Stradale has a V8 turbo engine which the company claims has the highest output of any 8 cylinder engine in its history. It’s aided by a total of three electric motors of which two are placed on the front axles and one on the rear. Combined, this setup produces a whopping 985 horsepower which enables the car to go from 0-62 mph in 2.5 as well as hit a top speed of 211 mph.
It will be possible to drive the Stradale in electric-only mode but you won’t get too far with that as it only provides a maximum of 15 miles of range. Even without the combustion engine it can hit 84 mph on battery alone. The engine shuts off completely when the car is reverse which means there’s no need for a reverse gear in the car’s gearbox.
Ferrari hasn’t confirmed when the SF90 Stradale will go on sale and how much it’s going to cost. One thing’s certain, it’s not going to be cheap.
