Amazon Will Now Deliver Into The Trunk Of Honda Cars

If there is one thing that Amazon is known for, it would be its amazing logistics system. The company has managed to create a dream logistics network where they are able to deliver products to customers one the same day itself or the next. However, since we’re not always home, the company has since expanded its services.

Some of you might recall that back in 2017, Amazon launched Amazon Key which was the company’s way of delivering right into your home. The company later expanded on that when they offered to make deliveries into the trunk of your car, although at that time it only covered Ford and Lincoln vehicles.

Now it looks like if you’re a Honda owner, Amazon is further expanding on its delivery services where they will be able to deliver into your car as well. Of course, not all Honda cars are eligible and only select models are, but if you do own a compatible model, you could have a package waiting in your car.

According to Daniel Tiet, project leader, connected business development for American Honda Motor Co., Inc., “The addition of Key by Amazon In-Car Delivery to our HondaLink Remote Package of in-vehicle services comes at no additional cost to subscribers, yet another way we are creating new value for Honda customers. This latest addition to HondaLink provides a new service, heightening the Honda owner experience in this increasingly connected world.”

13-Year Old Makes A Powerbank For His Brother Who Couldn’t Afford One

Technology can be expensive, which is why companies such as Xiaomi are thriving where they are creating products for very affordable prices that would have otherwise cost a lot more. However, even then there are some situations in which there are people who can’t even afford certain things.

Such is the case over in Malaysia where a touching story was shared on Twitter in which the person wrote how his younger brother, a 13-year old student, made a DIY powerbank for him because he could not afford to buy one for himself. According to the translated tweet, “I said to my little brother, “I want to buy a powerbank but I haven’t gotten my pay yet.” Look what he made for me😭 A handmade powerbank 😭 I’m really gratedul to have a little brother like him 😭 Later I’ll buy you McD as promised 😭”

It is not exactly the cleanest DIY project we’ve seen, but it seems to work and that’s what counts. We’re also not sure how exactly the powerbank was made. Of course, how safe such as DIY powerbank is remains to be seen, but the actions of the younger brother are indeed very touching. It also goes to show how the teen seems to have a knack for electronics, and it could be something worth pursuing as he gets older.

House Passes New Anti-Robocalling Bill That Give The FCC More Power

No one likes robocalls, but unfortunately, it seems that they are a part of life. However, the good news is that the House of Representatives have recently approved a new bill in which it should help improve anti-robocalling technology and also help to reduce the amount of robocalls that people receive.

According to a report from The Hill, this new bill would effectively give the FCC approval to take action against illegal robocalls. “The measure would give the FCC more time to investigate and punish illegal robocallers, require the agency to pare down the list of companies that are allowed to use robocalling services and raise the penalty for illegal robocallers to $10,000 per violation from $1,500.”

It would also require carriers to implement anti-robocalling technology without charging customers. “The legislation requires telephone carriers to implement technology that verifies caller identity without charging customers an extra fee, while extending the FCC’s authority to impose penalties against the entities that send spam calls.”

Previously, the FCC had made it so that carriers could enable anti-robocalling features by default. Previously, carriers sold anti-robocalling features that meant that customers had to pay to enable it, which meant that those who didn’t were subject to more robocalls than those who did. This new bill should help even things out.
