Pixel 4 renders point to another controversial design element

It seems that Google just loves stirring up controversy with its phone designs. Last year, it was harshly criticized for its large “bucket” notch. While it may have listened to that feedback to some extent, it has seemingly swung the other way as well. The good news is that neither the Pixel 4 nor the larger Pixel 4 XL will … Continue reading

Android Fast Pair to show more connection and battery details

Apple’s AirPods may be derided for its odd appearance but few have complaints about its convenience especially when pairing and reconnecting with a phone. That’s what Android’s upcoming Fast … Continue reading

Now that the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s third phase is over, many are wondering what will Phase 4 be bringing to the table. There have been rumors about what movies will be part of Phase 4, such as The Eternals and also Shang-Chi. It turns out the rumors were spot on because Marvel has since confirmed their plans for Phase 4.

During the company’s panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel has confirmed all the movies and TV shows that will make up Phase 4. Starting with the movies, this will include the Black Widow standalone movie that will explore the character’s past. This is set for a release on the 1st of May, 2020.

Then there will also be the Eternals movie set for the 6th of November, 2020, followed by Shang-Chi in February 12, 2021 which will introduce us to the “real” Mandarin. We can then expect Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness to arrive on the 7th of May, 2021, followed by Thor: Love and Thunder on the 5th of November, 2021.

There will also be a bunch of TV shows launching on Disney+ in between the movie releases, such as The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wanda Vision, Loki, What If..?, and Hawkeye. Marvel had also recently confirmed that they will be rebooting the Blade movies but noted that it will not be part of Phase 4.

Marvel Hints At Movies That Could Be Part Of Phase 5

Now that Marvel has officially confirmed their plans for the MCU’s fourth phase, we’re sure that there are many questions remaining. For example, what happened to the sequels to Captain Marvel and Black Panther? Also, what about Marvel’s plans for the X-Men and Fantastic Four, now that Disney has acquired Fox?

For those who are fans of those franchises, you can rest assured that Marvel has definitely not forgotten about them. Marvel’s panel at the San Diego Comic-Con was mostly to announce plans for Phase 4, but towards the end, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige hinted at how the other movies are being worked on.

Feige was quoted as saying, “So this is Phase 4, thank you. Now there’s a lot of other stuff we didn’t get to talk about today. We didn’t even mention that we’re making Black Panther 2. We didn’t mention the fact that Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is coming. We didn’t have time to talk about Captain Marvel 2, by the way. I didn’t even have time to talk about the Fantastic Four. And there’s no time left to talk about mutants.”

As to when these movies will debut remains to be seen, but we could be in for a wait. This is because the last Phase 4 movie, which is Thor: Love and Thunder, is set for a release in November 2021, so any Phase 5 movies will most likely come after that.

DJI’s Ronin-S Will Be Updated To Support Fujifilm’s X Cameras

The other day, DJI announced their new gimbal in the form of the DJI Ronin-SC. The camera came with partial support for Fujifilm cameras, a huge plus given that Fujifilm’s cameras can sometimes get overlooked by accessory makers. However, what about the Ronin-S, the predecessor of the Ronin-SC?

For those who are unfamiliar, DJI had previously launched a gimbal for mirrorless cameras in the form of the Ronin-S. The gimbal at that time did not support Fujifilm’s X-series of cameras, but the good news is that it looks like support will finally be on its way. In a tweet in response to a customer on Twitter, DJI noted that they are still working on the firmware for the Ronin-S that will bring support for Fujifilm’s mirrorless cameras.

Exactly when it will be arriving remains to be seen, but if you’re a Fujifilm user, this is good news. That being said, we should note that the Ronin-S appears to be priced higher than the Ronin-SC. Depending on the retailer, the Ronin-S is priced anywhere between $500-$700, while the Ronin-SC will be available from $439, so if you do use Fujifilm cameras, perhaps it might be a better idea to go for the Ronin-SC to save yourself some money.

Tinder snub of Google Play in-app payments could have a domino effect

Near the end of 2018, Epic Games made a lot of noise that criticized Valve’s and Google’s, but not Apple’s, practice of taking a large chunk out of both direct app sales as well as in-app purchases or IAPs. This isn’t really news, however, as the 30/70 revenue cut has long been in place and only now being questioned. Some … Continue reading
