If you own the Apple Watch Series 2 or Series 3, you might be interested to learn that Apple has recently announced a free screen repair program for both models. This is because it has been found that there have been some instances in which the edge of the screen will crack even if the user did not do anything to do.
In a support document published on Apple’s website, Apple notes, “Apple has determined that, under very rare circumstances, a crack may form along the rounded edge of the screen in aluminum models of an Apple Watch Series 2 or Series 3.” This will only apply to the aluminum models on the Series 2 and Series 3 and will cover both the 38mm and 42mm sizes.
If your Apple Watch starts to show cracks around its screen like in the renders above, then you are eligble for a free screen repair. This will cover models that are even if it is no longer under warranty, so if you own the Apple Watch Series 2, you don’t have to worry about paying for the repair.
It is unclear as to why the Apple Watch’s screens are cracking as Apple did not dive into the details, but if you thought that it was your fault, it looks like there’s a chance it might not be.

Google has yet to officially confirm when Android 10 will be released. We expect that it should be soon as the company usually tries to tie it in with the launch of their Pixel phones, but according to Canadian carrier Rogers, it seems that the update could actually launch a lot earlier than expected.
How early? According to Rogers, they are claiming that the update will be released on the 3rd of September, which is actually next week! Of course, don’t expect the update to arrive to your phone unless you own a Google Pixel device. This is because one of the advantages of owning a Pixel handset is that you get updates first and before everyone else, so if you own a phone from a different brand, it will depend on how quickly they choose to release it.
According to Rogers, they believe that the update will be pushed out to all the Pixel devices that have been released to date. This includes the original Pixel and Pixel XL, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, and Pixel 3A and Pixel 3A XL. As you might have heard, Google is actually done with the dessert names for its Pixel smartphones.
While known as Android Q internally, many have been wondering what the dessert name Google could be going with. However, recently the company confirmed that Android Q, the tenth version of Android, will simply be known as Android 10. In any case, we’ll wait and see if the updates are really pushed out next week.
