It seems like every week there’s news of a new piece of malware being used to steal user data or to take control of devices. For once, though, there’s some good news in the war on intrusive software: A botnet which was spreading crypto-mining malware…

Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate features a roster that is mostly filled with characters from its various franchises. However, it has also included characters from non-Nintendo games, which is why we can’t say that it would be too surprising to learn that in an upcoming DLC pack for the game, it could feature characters from SNK.
This is according to reports in which based on Nintendo UK’s website, there seems to be a copyright that mentions SNK Corporation. This has led to speculation that the upcoming Challenger Pack 4 could contain characters from SNK games. However, there have also been some reports to suggest that maybe this might not be the case, at least according to a post on Reddit.
For those who have been gaming long enough, SNK is probably a name familiar to you. The company is probably best known for their games such as Metal Slug and King of Fighters, which means that should this speculation end up being correct, perhaps we might see characters from those games make their way into Super Smash Bros. UItimate.
Nintendo has been rumored to be hosting a Nintendo Direct conference in the near future, so we expect that they will probably reveal more details about this upcoming DLC then.

World Of Warcraft Classic’s First Raid Has Already Been Beat In Less Than A Week
Posted in: Today's ChiliAs some of you might know, Blizzard recently launched World of Warcraft Classic. In case you are not in the know, basically this is the original or “vanilla” version of the game that was first launched more than 10 years ago. This was due to popular request in which for a brief period of time, there was a bit of a legal tussle between Blizzard and some members of the community who ran a private service hosting the vanilla version of the game.
It seems that less than a week of the game going live, it appears that a guild going by the name of APES has already managed to beat and complete the first raid. While guilds racing to the first place isn’t new, what’s impressive about this is that World of Warcraft Classic is based on the original version of the game.
This means that all the modern day conveniences that Blizzard has made to World of Warcraft over the years is not available. Nor are there any of the newer items or skills that players have been used to for the past decade or so. Some players have actually complained how easy modern day World of Warcraft is, at least compared to the original, so it’s no mean feat that they managed to accomplish all this and in such a short period of time.
So far the Classic version of the MMORPG appears to be a hit, where there are more players than the servers can handle at the moment.

Back in the day when video games were released, especially if it was a Japanese video game, there was the question of whether or not there would be a localized version released as well. While Japanese-only games still exist, globalization has meant that developers are now releasing games in multiple languages at the same time.
However, if you’d like to revisit some of those old games, you’re in luck. This is because thanks to the developers at RetroArch, an emulator for old classic console games, they have decided to employ the use of AI which will be used to help automatically translate Japanese video games into English for users.
Putting aside the legality of whether or not using an emulator is wrong and is considered piracy, this is actually quite a useful tool. However, we should point out that this translation is more or less on par with what you might expect from translation services such as Google, where sometimes it might miss the context of the sentence and give you odd translations.
That being said, we imagine that it should still be good enough to give you an idea of what’s going on. If you’re curious about the service and wouldn’t mind getting it setup for yourself, head on over to LibRetro’s website for the details.
