One of the selling points of mechanical keyboards are the switches that comes with it. These switches are what determines the keyboard’s feel, like is it going to be clicky, how tactile it feels, how smooth it feels, and what kind of sound it makes. Usually when you buy a keyboard, you’re required to choose the switch beforehand as typically speaking, they can’t be changed afterwards.
However, it seems that Logitech wants to turn the industry on its head by announcing the Logitech Pro X mechanical gaming keyboard. While Logitech is no stranger to mechanical keyboards, this will be the first commercially-available mechanical keyboard to offer up swappable switches.
This means that gamers who love the flexibility of being able to swap out their switches based on their needs or moods will be able to do so. That being said, we should point out that keyboards with hotswappable switches aren’t new in the mechanical keyboard scene. However, these are usually limited to custom keyboards which might not be familiar to non-hobbyists.
This would be the first time a company such as Logitech offers up a keyboard with similar features. From what we can tell, the switches used are your typical MX style switches so if you’re not a fan of Logitech’s switches, you can shop around for others. That being said, customizability does come at a price. The Logitech Pro X with swappable switches will be priced at $150, while the non-swappable version will be slightly cheaper at $130.

Drones are great for photography and videography, but it seems that drones are now an excellent tool for law enforcement. According to a report from the New Zealand Herald, it seems that a Chinese fugitive on the run from authorities for the past 17 years was finally caught after a drone had spotted him living in a secret cave.
The fugitive, a 63-year old by the name of Song Jiang, escaped a prison camp back in 2002. He had been previously arrested for trafficking women and children. Law enforcement officials had spent years trying to track the sneaky fellow but without much luck, until a drone was brought in and upon aerial surveillance, it showed signs that Song could be hiding in the mountains.
The key giveaway to his whereabouts was a blue piece of steel sticking out amongst the trees in the forest, and upon further inspection, police found that the piece of steel was used to cover a cave, which was littered around by human garbage. The police then sent officers up into the forest where they found Song hiding in his cave.
It turns out that life on the run was not kind to Song as he was discovered in quite bad shape and was also unable to communicate due to years of isolation. He later confessed to escaping from prison and was later sent back.

Based on the way Stranger Things season 3 had ended, it seemed like there was still plenty of story left to be told. The good news is that if you wanted to see what the rest of the Stranger Things universe has left to tell, you’ll be pleased to learn that season 4 for the series has since been confirmed by Netflix themselves.
In a brief announcement trailer (see video above), Netflix has confirmed that Stranger Things season 4 will be happening. When exactly it will be released remains to be seen, but according to the video’s description, it suggests that the next season might not necessarily take place in Hawkins anymore.
In a way this makes sense given how season 3 ended, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out. It also does not come as a surprise that season 4 is happening. This is because back in 2018, the show’s producer and director Shawn Levy revealed that the fourth season had more or less been confirmed, so we guess this is more of a formal announcement.
We’re not sure if there will be a fifth season, but given that this is one of Netflix’s more successful series in recent years, we expect that they will want to milk it for all its worth. Plus with Disney Plus and Apple TV Plus launching, Netflix will want to make its service more compelling than ever.

One of the defining features of Google Maps is Street View. This allows users to get a look at the area on a street level to try and locate shops and landmarks. However, it seems that Apple is ready to challenge Google with its own answer to Street View, also known as “Look Around”, a new feature in Apple Maps.
In fact, if you live in New York City or Los Angeles, it seems that the feature is now live and you can check it out. It’s not surprising that Apple has yet to roll it out to more cities as we imagine that they will need to start collecting photographs and data, but it’s a start and might be worth checking out if you are an avid user of Apple Maps.
Apple will be rolling out the feature to more locations through 2019 and 2020, so if you don’t live in New York or Los Angeles, not to worry as it should eventually find its way to you. In the meantime, there’s always Street View as an alternative. That being said, Apple has done a pretty good job improving on Apple Maps since it launched.
There are a ton of new features added since its debut and it is a lot more accurate than back in the day, so if you have constantly been relying on Google Maps, perhaps now might be a good time to give Apple Maps another chance.

Sometimes the resiliency of our mobile devices can be surprising. Now, it is obvious that when Apple designed their iPhones that they were clearly not aiming for ruggedness. This is why display repairs are so common due to them seemingly cracking relatively easily upon being dropped.
This is why sometimes when we hear stories about iPhones surviving drops, it can be a pleasant surprise. According to a report from WDAM, a diver by the name of Michael Bennett made an interesting discovery during one of his dives, in which he found an iPhone at the bottom of the Edisto River. According to Bennett, “I came across something that looked kind of like a rope maybe attached to car keys, and when I pulled it up, I seen a phone inside of a waterproof case and I’m like, ‘No way, this is unbelievable.’”
What made it even more unbelievable was that when he charged it, it turned on and seemed to be in working condition. Due to the passcode on the phone, Bennett could not bypass the lockscreen, so what he did was take out the SIM card and put it into another device which allowed him to retrieve the owner’s contact details.
He managed to get in touch with the owner, Erica Bennett (not related) who was very emotional about getting her device back. This is because the phone contained text messages from her late father that she was keeping. “It was kind of emotional because the last thing I have from him is saying, ‘Hey I’m playing phone tag with you, so I just figured I just text you, how are you feeling?’ And I think he had called me after that. I’m pretty sure it was Father’s Day.”
The device isn’t in perfect condition due to it being submerged for more than a year, but thankfully its waterproof casing did help prevent more serious damage.
