A Fully-Electric Ferrari Won’t Be Coming Anytime Soon

In the early days of electric cars, these vehicles had terrible range and weren’t particularly powerful. All of that has changed now, where cars have considerably longer ranges and can achieve pretty incredible top speeds, but it seems that not all carmakers are ready to hop on board just yet.

Take for example supercar maker, Ferrari, who has recently revealed that a fully-electric Ferrari car will only arrive after 2025. To be fair, Ferrari has explored the idea of electric cars before when they unveiled their first production plug-in hybrid, but it seems that the company is only planning on committing to a fully-electric car much later on.

This is according to the company’s CEO Louis Camilleri who said that this was largely due to batteries in which they do not think it is quite where they would like it yet. Speaking to reporters, Camilleri was quoted as saying, “The battery technology is not where it should be yet. There are still significant issues in terms of autonomy, in terms of speed of recharging. So eventually we will come out with one. But it’s post-2025. Not in the short term.”

The CEO also adds that they are exploring other alternative technologies to power electric cars, such as hydrogen and maybe even biofuels. “We are looking at various powertrains and trying to see what would be the most efficient and effective in terms of what our vision is for Ferrari cars in the future.”

BTS’ Lead Singer Has Lost 33 Pairs Of AirPods Worth $6,000 To Date

Apple’s AirPods headphones do not come cheap, but regardless, they still seem to be selling like hotcakes. One of the selling points of the headphones is its size, where they’re small and portable, but that is also their problem where due to their true wireless design, it would be pretty easy to lose them.

Replacements do not come cheap either and according to a recent Q&A stream, Kim Namjoon, the lead singer and rapper of the K-pop sensation band, BTS, he revealed that he has lost 33 pairs of the AirPods to date and is currently on his 34th pair. Given the price of the AirPods, it has been estimated that he would have lost $6,000 in AirPods so far, making it a very, very expensive process.

Given the hectic traveling schedule of BTS where they have toured the world, we suppose it’s not hard to imagine that somewhere along the way he would have lost his AirPods. However, that does highlight a problem with the headphones. Due to the fact that they are more or less impossible to repair, some have pointed out that this is an environmental concern.

This applies to AirPods that have been lost or can’t be repaired where they will basically end up in a dump somewhere. With Apple billing themselves as a company that aims to be as sustainable as possible, hopefully this is an aspect in the AirPods’ design that the company can look at in the future.

4K Pixelbook Go Now Available For Purchase

Back in October, Google introduced their new Pixelbook Go laptop. The base model of the laptop is rather affordable at around $650, but Google also announced that there were plans to offer up a model that comes with a 4K display for those who might have need for a higher resolution.

The good news for those who have been holding out for such a laptop, the folks at Android Central have discovered that the 4K configuration is now available for purchase via the Google Store. This will be the most powerful configuration of the Pixelbook Go to date where it will offer up an Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in addition to its 4K display.

That being said, the only model being offered right now is the black model, and that if you wanted the pink version of the laptop, that is still not available at the moment but we imagine it should eventually make its way into the store. It will also not come cheap at an asking price of $1,400, making it one of the more (if not the most) expensive Chromebook to date.

Usually Chromebooks are priced affordably as they are usually aimed at students and users who don’t really need such a powerful laptop to take with them on the go, but if you have a higher requirement, then head on over to the Google Store to check it out.

December always goes by too fast in my opinion.
