‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2 Confirmed For The Fall Of 2020

While Disney might have been late to the streaming game, they certainly have managed to capture the attention of many with its flagship Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. The reviews of the series have been fantastic and the first season just ended rather amazingly (if you’ve seen it, you can probably agree).

Also, by the way it ended, it hinted that we could get a second season. It would be almost foolish of Disney to not go forward with a second season, and the good news is that they are. In a tweet by Jon Favreau, the director and producer has confirmed that The Mandalorian will be making a return in the fall of 2020 for its second season.

Many are no doubt going to be pretty excited for it, although we have to wonder if Disney will continue investing as much as they have into it. In case you’re wondering why that is, it is because the first season of the series is said to have cost a whopping $120 million. This means that per episode, it has cost the company an eye-watering $15 million.

This is considerably higher than most TV shows and to a smaller extent, movies as well. This has resulted in very beautiful episodes that have cinematic-like quality effects and editing, so hopefully this is something will continue to invest in.

Google Search Now Lets You Create Movies And TV Shows Watchlists

Due to us leading busy lives, sometimes we might miss out on TV shows and movies that we want to watch. The good news is that if you wanted to make a list of movies and shows that you want to and plan to watch, Google has you covered. According to a report from 9to5Google, it looks like Google Search has introduced a new “Watchlist” feature.

Basically what this feature does is that when you search for a show or movie on Google, you can click the “Watchlist” button and add it to your list. You can then revisit this list anytime you want to check out all the shows that you have missed. Essentially, this is similar to a bookmark where you can save all the shows you’ve been meaning to see but didn’t get a chance to.

In addition to “Watchlist”, there is also the addition of a “Watched it?” button that when you click, will mark shows that you’ve already seen, just in case you might have forgotten about it. Note that this feature is currently only available for the mobile web and the Google app for iOS and Android, so if you’re using Google Search on your desktop, you won’t see this feature, at least not yet.

It is also currently being rolled out to users as we speak so if you don’t see it yet, fret not as it should eventually find its way to your device.

Anker Creates The First MFi Certified iPhone LED Flash Accessory

The problem with the flash on our smartphone cameras is that due to their size and placement, it is sometimes not exactly ideal since it can result in very harsh photos, unless that was your intention. This is why many professional photographers use external flash units that can be angled away or softboxes that can diffuse the flash to make it less harsh and more even.

If you’re looking for a flash accessory for your iPhone, you might be in luck because Anker has unveiled the first MFi-certified iPhone LED flash accessory. We should point out that flash accessories for smartphones aren’t exactly new, but this would essentially be the first accessory to be certified by Apple under its MFi program, meaning that to a certain extent, it has Apple’s blessing.

The accessory connects to your iPhone using the lightning port and can be triggered using the default Camera app that is preloaded on your iPhone. Anker estimates that it should be good enough to be used for as many as 10,000 shots per charge and there will also be an optional diffuser to help spread the light source out.

Anker also claims that the flash is four times as bright compared to the default iPhone flash and can also achieve twice the range, so in theory, you could use it for portrait shots. It will be priced at $50 and is expected to be released next month.
