The year has just begun and we’re still months away from Apple’s own big event in September. That’s not stopping sources from leaking information about the next iPhones, whose names are still anyone’s guess at this point. Naturally, information landing this early could be a bit confusing and inaccurate so take this new leak with a cupful of salt when … Continue reading
Hey, good morning! Disney+ might be making an early appearance in Europe, but why is your most hyped game of 2020 most likely delayed?
Maybe it’s the Final Fantasy VII Remake, the ambitious refresh of a decades-old RPG. Perhaps it’s Cyberpunk 2077,…
OnePlus has been steadily teasing that they are working on a display that offers a refresh rate of 120Hz, and now thanks to a leaked photo obtained by the folks at True-Tech, they have published what appears to be the OnePlus 8 Pro where based on the screenshot we’re seeing, it looks like the 120Hz display has been confirmed.
OnePlus has never stated which phone will be getting the 120Hz display, but it was always a safe assumption that it would most likely find its way to the OnePlus 8 series, and if this photo is accurate, we might be right. Also, what’s interesting is that the photo also shows that users will have the option of adjusting the refresh rate of their display.
They will be able to choose between the 120Hz refresh rate, or go lower to 90Hz or even 60Hz. These options will help users better conserve battery life, where it is believed that a faster refresh rate will no doubt have a bigger drain on the battery compared to a slower refresh rate.
That being said, we’re not sure if the 120Hz refresh rate display will be exclusive to the OnePlus 8 Pro, which presumably will be the higher-end model, or if it will be applied across the board, but it could be one way to differentiate between the models. Take this photo with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully OnePlus will have something more official to share in the coming months.

The Nintendo 3DS utilized its screen and stylus to moderate success but the Nintendo Switch, which is practically a custom Android tablet, doesn’t yet. It seems, however, that Nintendo has something … Continue reading
It’s almost hard to believe that the Google Pixelbook Go has already been out for three months now, and that’s partly because it was still missing what could be considered its “launch color”. The “Not Pink” option was the head-turning color that leaked before the announcement and its confirmation definitely sparked discussion, interest, and pre-orders.
