For the longest time ever, Nintendo resisted making the jump to mobile. The company had their own reasons, but it seemed to fly in defiance of the market and how more developers were starting to treat mobile as a serious gaming platform. The company has since made the shift and it looks like it has paid off.
According to the latest figures from Sensor Tower (which are no official, by the way), it seems that Nintendo’s decision to start developing mobile games has paid off in a huge way. The report claims that to date, the company has made a whopping $1 billion from games on both iOS and Android devices.
It also appears that the company’s most profitable game to date is also Fire Emblem Heroes, which accounts for the majority of that $1 billion in revenue. Next up is Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, followed by Draglia Lost in third place. Interestingly enough, none of Nintendo’s Mario titles were particularly huge earners, at least compared to those three games.
Nintendo’s strategy for mobile has mostly been about adopting the free-to-play model, where the games are usually free to download, but are coupled with in-app purchases to unlock additional content. We expect that the company will keep releasing new mobile titles in the future, given how lucrative it has proven to be.

In the workplace, apps such as Slack and Microsoft Teams are currently the preferred choice of communication amongst co-workers. Google has attempted to break into the enterprise sector by relaunching Hangouts and trying to shift its focus to business users, but it looks like the company could have something else in the works.
According to a report from The Information (paywall), Google is reportedly developing an all-in-one messenger app that would combine Gmail, Google Drive, Hangouts Meet, and Hangouts Chat, along with one more unnamed Google app into a single entity. It is expected that this will be a one-stop-shop for enterprise users who are looking to communicate with each other, check their emails, and so on.
Users are also expected to be able to maintain access to existing cloud storage options as well as their current email addresses. This app is rumored to be part of Google’s G Suite which is typically geared towards those in the workplace. There is no word on when this particular app will launch, but like we said, since it is rumored to be more for G Suite users, non-enterprise users probably won’t be able to access it anyway.
Take it with a grain of salt, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information for when the app does eventually launch.

While Dyson might be known for its vacuum cleaners and fancy hair dryers, the company also got into the lighting business where they have created some pretty sleek and stylish lamps. Now it looks like the company is back with its latest lighting efforts in the form of the Dyson Lightcycle Morph, a lamp that wants to do everything.
As the name suggests, this is a lamp that can “morph” into different shapes depending on what you need it for. It can also pivot its head where it can act as a spotlight to shine on objects, like a painting. It can also be pivoted downwards where it can be used as a reading lamp.
However, that’s not all because the stem of the lamp can also light up where it can create ambient lighting in the form of a comforting, orange glow, helping to create a relaxed mood and also to reduce the amount of blue light emitted. There is also a smaller desk version in case that’s what you prefer.
In addition to the various lighting styles, Dyson is also touting the longevity of the lamp where they claim that due to its design and the use of a heat pipe, it can help draw heat away from the LEDs which in turn should help it last longer for as long as up to 60 years (although your mileage may vary).
The Dyson Lightcycle Morph will be priced at $650 for the desk model, and $850 for the floor model.
