It may have recently been overshadowed by higher-profile companies dipping their fingers into the smartphone gaming cookie jar but Gameloft’s name has always been associated with gaming on phones back to a time when those phones weren’t even smart. The France-based studio has, since then, branched out to other gaming platforms but its mobile legacy isn’t something it can forget. … Continue reading

Instagram’s New Stickers Want To Help Small Businesses During The COVID-19 Crisis
Posted in: Today's ChiliThe problem with a lot of small businesses is that they typically do not have the same cashflow as bigger conglomerates. This means that in times of crisis like the one we are facing now with the COVID-19 virus outbreak, there are many small businesses that are forced to suspend their operations, and might not have enough cash on hand to sustain them for the coming months.
What some smaller businesses like restaurants are doing is that they are now offering delivery or pickup services (which might not have been offered before), and to help bring these businesses in focus, Instagram has launched new stickers to help customers order from them by redirecting them to the business’s website.
According to Instagram, “Small businesses are an important part of our community, and many are facing immense challenges during the COVID‑19 crisis. Today, we’re making it easier to discover gift cards, online food orders, and fundraisers on Instagram so you can support the businesses you love.”
They add, “Businesses can share new gift card, food order, and fundraiser stickers in Stories and on their profiles. When you see gift cards or food orders, you can tap to make your purchase through our partner’s site.” This new feature will be initially available in the US and Canada, but it is expected to rollout globally in the coming weeks.

The search is on for planets that are inhabitable because due to the finite number of resources we have on Earth, it is possible that one day in the future we might need to seek other planets in order to keep on living. Some planets such as Mars have been proposed as a possibility, but now scientists have discovered another potential.
However, what’s interesting about this discovery is the fact that it was actually discovered years ago. The data was initially gathered by the Kepler space telescope years ago but due to the algorithm that was used, it was initially dismissed by the system. It was only recently brought back into focus thanks to scientists who were combing over the early data.
This particular exoplanet, dubbed the Kepler-1649c, is about 1.06 times larger than our planet. It also gets about 75% of the light our planet gets, which isn’t exactly idea, but still puts it into the habitable zone category. This is good news as it means that it is another potential planet that could be explored in the future as a possible habitable zone.
Unfortunately, not much else is known about the Kepler-1649c, such as its atmospheric conditions. This means that there is still a chance that despite it meeting some of the conditions of being a habitable planet, the atmospheric conditions could render that null and void. That being said, the Kepler-1649c is 300 light years away so don’t expect us to be making trips there anytime soon.

When Apple announced their new iPad Pro earlier this year, one of the new features of the iPad Pro and its software is the support for trackpads. To that end, Apple also announced a new Magic Keyboard accessory for the new iPad Pro that comes with redesigned scissor switch keys and a built-in trackpad.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, you’ll be pleased to learn that Apple has since announced that its new Magic Keyboard accessory will now be available to order. By using this accessory, it will essentially turn your iPad Pro into a pseudo MacBook-like experience, which is good if you’re after a laptop replacement.
While the iPads have recently gained the ability to support external mice, the addition of trackpad support means that users won’t need to bring a mouse with them if they are working outside. The new Magic Keyboard also offers improvements in terms of viewing angles, where it is now more adjustable compared to the previous Smart Keyboard accessory.
Unfortunately, the new Magic Keyboard does not come cheap. It is priced starting at $299 for the 11-inch iPad Pro, and $349 for the 12.9-inch model. They will be compatible with the 2018 iPad Pros and the 2020 models and can be purchased from Apple’s website.
