The Liberty Counsel is calling on churches across the country to reopen in May.
Back in October last year, Google unveiled the second-gen Pixel Buds which they referred to as the “new” Pixel Buds. It has been more than half a year since the device was announced, but the good news is that if you have been looking forward to getting your hands on the device, you’ll be pleased to learn that is now possible.
Unlike the first-gen Pixel Buds, the second-gen model will be a true wireless set of earphones. This is because for those unfamiliar, the first-gen Pixel Buds came with a cable that connected the two earpieces together, but the second-gen model ditches those cables entirely, putting it square in competition with the likes of earphones like Apple’s AirPods.
Some of the features of the new Pixel Buds included improved voice quality, where it comes with a built-in accelerometer that can apparently detect your voice based on vibrations from your jawbone, which in theory should allow it to better transmit audio even in louder or noisier environments.
They will also come with dual microphones and there is a new Adaptive Sound feature that can increase or decrease the volume of the earphones based on outside noise. As expected, there will be integration with Google Assistant where you can summon the digital assistant from the earphones itself. The new Pixel Buds will also boat 5 hours of use on a single charge and will come with a charging case that will extend it by 24 hours. The new Pixel Buds are priced at $179 and will be available for purchase in the coming weeks.

Earlier this month, the developers at Naughty Dog revealed that The Last of Us 2 would be indefinitely delayed. The reason for this was due to the coronavirus outbreak which has impacted the way people work, while also impacting logistics where Naughty Dog was worried that it might result in players not being able to play the game at the same time.
The good news is that Naughty Dog has since moved up the game’s release date where according to the company, The Last of Us 2 will now be released on the 19th of June. This comes on the heels of several major leaks in which videos and spoilers for the game were posted online.
As a result, Naughty Dog decided to get ahead of this but giving players a release date to minimize the impact of the leak. We have decided not to share details of the leak or links to the leak to avoid any potential spoilers, and we suggest that you probably not do a search about it if you’d prefer to avoid spoiling the game for yourself.

It is a bit disappointing that some people are sharing these leaks online as it does ruin the game and experience for everyone, especially when you consider how long the game has been in development for, but we suppose the silver lining to this is that at least the game now has a release date we can look forward to.

Verizon Will Continue To Suspend Late Fees And Account Cancellations Through June 30
Posted in: Today's ChiliBack in March, major carriers in the US announced that due to the coronavirus pandemic which has caused businesses to shut down and people to lose their jobs, they will be suspending late fees for bills that are not paid on time, as well as suspending account cancellations for customers who might have overdue bills.
It does not look like this outbreak will be ending anytime soon and with some states continuing to be in lockdown, which prevents people from working, Verizon has announced that they will be extending their previous initiative where late fees and account cancellations will be suspended through the 30th of June.
The previous agreement amongst carriers was a suspension of these penalties for 60 days, but like we said, it could be a whle before things go back to normal, and as such it looks like Verizon will be extending their offer for another 60 days. It is unclear if the other major carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile will be making similar offers, but we wouldn’t be surprised if they did.
According to Verizon, “This means we will neither terminate service nor charge late fees to our postpaid wireless, residential, and small business customers that notify us of their inability to pay their bills due to disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.” Verizon had also recently announced that they will be giving all customers an extra 15GB of data that they can use for the month of May.

Many might assume that once this coronavirus pandemic passes, life will go back to normal, but that might not necessarily be the case. Until a vaccine can be found, even if lockdowns are eased up or lifted, it might still be relatively dangerous to go out, especially if the findings from a recent study are accurate.
According to researchers from the Wuhan University, they have discovered that the coronavirus can continue to linger in the air, especially in crowded spaces. This means that if an infected person coughs in a public space like a mall and walks away, the virus could continue to linger in that area even after the person is gone. Previously it was discovered that the virus could continue to linger on surfaces for weeks.
This was discovered after researchers created aerosol traps in and around two hospitals based in Wuhan, and found evidence that the virus lingered in the air in patient wards, supermarkets, residential buildings, toilets, and especially high concentrations where medical stuff take off their protective equipment.
What this means is that if you do plan to go out once lockdown restrictions have been lifted, you might want to consider avoiding crowded spaces and places where ventilation might be poor, and of course, practicing good hygiene such as washing your hands with soap and water is a no-brainer.

Apple’s new iPhone SE comes at a price of $399, a price tag that we haven’t seen on an iPhone ever since the original iPhone SE. However, the affordable price tag also means that certain compromises had to be made in terms of the choice of hardware and features, where apparently battery size was one of those compromises.
We had previously heard that the iPhone SE came with a tiny 1,821mAh battery, and it looks like it certainly shows. In a video published onto YouTube by Mrwhosetheboss, he runs the iPhone SE through a barrage of battery tests and pits it against other smartphones like the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy S20, and the OnePlus 8, and boy, are we disappointed.
If you don’t have 8 minutes to spare, basically the results were that the iPhone SE managed to squeeze out a paltry 3 hours and 46 minutes of use, putting it well behind the competition. The iPhone 11 came in fourth place with 5 hours, while the Galaxy S20 managed 6 hours and 31 minutes, the iPhone 11 Pro with 6 hours and 56 minutes, and the OnePlus 8 at an impressive 7 hours and 55 minutes.
Of course these times will vary depending on how aggressively you use your smartphone. If you’re a more conservative user, then you might be able to get more, but if you are a medium to heavy user, then this is definitely something you’ll want to take into consideration if you plan to buy the handset.

It is said that the coronavirus tends to affect the elderly worse than it does healthy younger individuals. As such, it is generally not recommended for those who are older to go out, even for supply runs. However, this in turn creates a problem, especially for retirees who might live alone and might need to go out to buy medicine.
The good news is that over in Florida, UPS and CVS will be teaming up where they will be using drones to help deliver prescription medication to The Villages, which is the largest retirement community in the US where it plays home to more than 135,000 residents. This means that instead of having to drive out and potentially interact with people, these drones can deliver medication to retirees safely while practicing social distancing.
According to Scott Price, UPS chief strategy and transformation officer, “Our new drone delivery service will help CVS provide safe and efficient deliveries of medicines to this large retirement community, enabling residents to receive medications without leaving their homes. UPS is committed to playing its part in fighting the spread of Coronavirus, and this is another way we can support our healthcare customers and individuals with innovative solutions.”
UPS is no stranger when it comes to adopting new technologies to help improve and enhance its delivery services. The company had previously gained FAA approval to use drones to make deliveries, and they had also used drones to make medical supply deliveries in North Carolina.
