Two-factor authentication is something that many companies recommend its users to use, but it is not always mandatory. However, if you’re a Nest user, it looks like the feature will soon become a requirement and Google has recently announced that they will be slowly implementing the feature.
Google had announced earlier this year that starting this Spring, 2FA will be required for all Nest accounts, and that users will need to enable the feature or migrate their accounts to a Google account. However, we imagine that there are probably some users who did not know about it or did not get around to it, but it looks like that decision has since been made for you.
According to Google, those who haven’t enabled the feature or migrated their accounts will receive an email from Nest whenever they try to sign into their accounts. This can be troublesome if you’d rather not have to constantly check your emails, and also if you don’t want your inbox to start building up with these 2FA codes.
However, the upside is that at the very least, it will still continue to protect users who might not have chosen to enable the feature. If you don’t want to be spammed with these emails, then you will need to turn on the feature by linking your phone number to the app, or migrate to a Google account if you prefer consolidating your online accounts.

Right now, testing for the coronavirus can be tricky because there seems to be a shortage on the number test kits out there. This means that doctors cannot simply waste these kits on anyone who just walks in and asks for it, and it is typically reserved for more serious cases, which can be problematic as it means that people who should be isolated aren’t.
However, thanks to the work done by researchers at Northwestern University, they have developed an adhesive sticker that can be worn on the neck. This sticker contains sensors that can wireless transmit information to a mobile device, like a smartphone or tablet, which in turn could provide healthcare workers with information that could help them catch the problem earlier on.
The sticker works by monitoring the area between your throat and chest, where it keeps a look out for any irregular or labored breathing, which is one of the symptoms of the coronavirus. It also checks for respiratory sounds, monitors your heart rate, and also checks your body’s temperature, where having a fever is also one of the symptoms.
By leveraging this information, it could help doctors and health officials spot cases earlier, which means that these people could be isolated quicker to prevent the spread, and also could potentially save their lives as it means that they can be monitored and treated earlier before it gets too serious.
There is still work left to be done with this device so don’t expect to see it made available anytime soon.

5-Year Old Caught By Police Attempting To Drive To California To Buy A Lamborghini
Posted in: Today's ChiliWe’ve all been guilty of doing stupid stuff when we were younger, probably because we never really thought about the gravity of our decisions and the consequences. Take for example, police in Utah pulled over a car only to discover a 5-year old behind the wheel driving where his reason was because he wanted to go to California to buy a Lamborghini.
According to the police, a highway patrol trooper was driving when he noticed a car that wasn’t driving properly and was driving extremely slowly (35mph in a 70mph zone). The trooper initially assumed that this was someone who was impaired or maybe experiencing a medical emergency, but to his surprise when he got the car to pull over, he found a kid on the verge of tears with both his feet jamming onto the brakes.
The trooper managed to help the boy put the car into gear before questioning him, where in the video above, the trooper can be heard saying, “How old are you? You’re 5 years old? Wow, OK. Where did you learn how to drive a car?” Both the boy’s parents were at work and he was supposed to be watched by an older sibling, but he somehow managed to give them the slip.
It was also later discovered that despite the boy’s dreams of buying a Lamborghini, it turned out that he fell a bit short in terms of cash where he only had $3 in his wallet.
