Star Wars Space Slug Desk Organizer: The Pencil Strikes Back

Did you know the giant space slug that lived inside that asteroid in The Empire Strikes Back was called an Exogorth? Me either. You learn something new every day. Well, now you can have your very own Exogorth to keep on your desktop.

The guys at prop company Regal Robot created this awesome sculpture of the massive monster as it pokes its head out of its rocky home attempting to eat whatever might land in its gaping mouth. The resin desk organizer is based on detailed scan of the original movie prop Exogorth, and each one is meticulously handpainted. Of course what really makes it all come together is the Millennium Falcon pencil topper which makes it look like Han and Chewie’s ship is beating a hasty retreat from almost certain doom.

The Space Slug desk organizer is a really special collectible for an Star Wars fan, and is available for $99 from Regal Robot. And remember, the next time you see a cave in a science fiction movie, there’s a pretty good chance there’s a nasty creature living inside of it, so it’s probably not the best place to hide.
