Only about half of Americans say that they’d like to get vaccinated for the new coronavirus if or when a vaccine becomes available, according to a new poll from the Associated Press and the NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. The poll, which was conducted between May 14-18, is a troubling sign that Americans may…
There are various ways gamers can improve themselves in the games they play. It could be hardware where having a more responsive keyboard or mouse can help, better audio, a faster computer, and so on. Frame rates have also been found to help improve your gaming experience, and soon OnePlus 8 owners might have an advantage.
If you own the OnePlus 8 handset, you might be interested to learn that in a deal struck with Epic Games, OnePlus 8 phones will be able to run Fortnite at a buttery smooth 90 FPS. This will essentially make the OnePlus 8 the only handset to be able to run the game at those frame rates, although you might want to take note of this.
This is because in order to achieve higher frame rates, you would need more powerful hardware. Since the phone has already been released, it’s not like OnePlus can magically upgrade the hardware of its handset, so instead, the game will need to run at lower settings in order to hit that 90 FPS mark.
However, if higher frame rates is more important to you than graphics quality, then this could be something to look forward to. According to Tim Sweeney , founder and CEO of Epic Games, “This is a big step forward, and alongside the performance improvements the teams have made regarding FPS, Fortnite on a OnePlus device is going to be an awesome experience.”

It has been rumored that Apple is working on mini LED products, but to date, we haven’t actually seen any from the company. In fact, one of the rumored mini LED products is an iPad Pro that was supposed to launch this year, but has since been delayed. Now according to analyst Jeff Pu, it seems that the mini LED lineup will only be arriving in 2021.
Pu’s assessment is in line with that of notable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who had previously claimed that Apple’s mini LED will only be coming in 2021. The products that are expected to receive these mini LED upgrades include the 16-inch MacBook Pro, the iPad Pro, and also the iMac Pro.
The report claims that these products will see the update in the first quarter for the iPad Pro, the 16-inch MacBook Pro in the second quarter, and the iMac Pro in the second half of the year. It’s interesting to hear about the 16-inch MacBook Pro getting an update in the second quarter of 2021 as we have to wonder if this means that we won’t be seeing an update to the laptop this year.
In any case, take it with a grain of salt for now, but if you were hoping to see mini LED products from Apple, 2021 could be the earliest we’ll be seeing them.

Nobody really likes dealing with cables and wires, which is why wireless mice and keyboards are becoming more popular these days. However, when it comes to mechanical keyboards, there aren’t that many wireless options out there, but Logitech is surely expanding on that with their latest keyboard.
The company has announced that they will be giving its G915 gaming keyboard a bit of an upgrade where they have announced a wireless option. This means that if you like what the G915 had to offer, you will now have the option to purchase a wireless version of the keyboard that comes with pretty much the same features as its wired counterpart.
Unlike most mechanical keyboards, the G915 is a low-profile keyboard. This means that while it still uses mechanical switches, they are using a low-profile version which means that it’ll have a smaller footprint in terms of its height. Some users might prefer this low-profile design as some do see it as being easier to type on.
The wireless G915 will also be a TKL version, meaning that it loses the dedicated numpad to the right. Some users do prefer this option as the “shorter” design does make it easier to use it with a mouse. According to Logitech, the wireless G915 will offer up to 40 hours of use on a single charge and will be priced at $229.99 and will be available in a linear, tactile, or clicky options.

With Apple introducing USB-C ports to its MacBook laptops, this allows users to connect their laptops to external monitors while charging them simultaneously. This in turn has resulted in many MacBook users turning their laptops into permanent desktop workstations, but we imagine that this is at the cost of battery life.
The good news is that if you’re running a similar setup, you might want to update your laptop to the latest version of macOS. This is because in the macOS Catalina 10.15.5 update, Apple has brought a new feature to the operating system in the form of Battery Health Management. This feature is designed to help MacBook owners reduce wear and tear on their batteries to prolong them.
In case you didn’t already know, constantly charging your laptop’s batteries will reduce their lifespan, where after a year or two, they will no longer hold their charge when it was brand new. This is unavoidable. However, with this new feature, Apple is hoping to better manage battery health by studying the charging behavior of its users, and then adapt the batteries accordingly.
For example, if it detects that the MacBook is plugged in most of the time, it will prevent it from hitting full capacity. This is because constantly keeping the battery topped up can be detrimental to overall battery health. This new Battery Health Management feature will be enabled by default, but users can go ahead and disable it if they wish.

Some of you might recall that not too long ago, Canon released a software that allowed users of its cameras to turn it into a webcam. We also reported recently that Fujifilm was planning something similar, and the good news for Fujifilm camera owners is that it looks like the software has since been released.
Dubbed the FUJIFILM X Webcam, this will make it easy for Fujifilm owners to turn their cameras into webcams simply by plugging it into their computers. According to the company, “Users will be able to install the software on any PC, and using a USB cable, connect a supported camera, to create a web-conferencing environment with much higher image quality.”
Yup, you read that right, it’s pretty much just a plug-and-play experience which makes it incredibly easy to improve on your video conferencing calls. Prior to this, users could turn their Fujifilm cameras into webcams, but this involved them having to purchase additional equipment like a capture card and use third-party software, but this takes up a lot of the work.
That being said, we should note that not all Fujifilm cameras are compatible with this software. For now, it seems to be limited to the company’s high-end cameras which includes the Fujifilm GFX100, GFX 50S, GFX 50R, X-H1, X-Pro2, X-Pro3, X-T2, X-T3, and the X-T4.

No thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, the way we live our lives moving forwards will never be the same again. Until a vaccine has been found, it seems that social distancing is pretty much the only thing we can do in order to curb the spread of the virus, and a cafe in South Korea has come up with an interesting way to deal with it: robots.
Located in Daejeon, this cafe has hired robot employees who will make and serve coffee to customers. This is to help with social distancing whereby using robots instead of humans, it reduces the amount of human-to-human interactions, which in turn helps prevent the virus from spreading.
The cafe has also been designed to keep tables apart from each other to not only help the robots smoothly navigate the cafe, but also to enforce social distancing rules amongst customers. The robot will be capable of making as many as 60 different types of drinks for customers and also has the ability to map out its routes in the cafe to find the best ways to get around.
Of course, some have expressed their concern at using robots as it means that there will be less jobs for humans as it essentially fills the role that a human would have otherwise been in.
