Android TV “Sabrina” dongle could come with a tempting price tag

It has been a while since Google launched a new Android TV device of its own, which is probably not surprising considering it’s pouring its attention on the Chromecast Ultra. The latter is, after all, the device on which its Stadia is best experienced. That, of course, makes Android TV feel more and more like abandonware, a perception Google is … Continue reading

IFA 2020 is still happening this year but in a very different way. Lenovo’s Latest Gaming Laptop Weighs Under Four Pounds

When you think of gaming laptops, there’s a chance that you might associate these laptops with being huge, bulky, and heavy. This is due to the numerous features that one might expect from a gaming laptop, but that doesn’t always have to be the case. For those looking for a gaming laptop that won’t break your back, then Lenovo’s latest Legion Slim 7i could be the laptop for you.

According to Lenovo, the Legion Slim 7i features a build that weighs in just under four pounds (3.96lbs to be exact), which is relatively light as far as gaming laptops are concerned. Lenovo claims that one of the ways they slimmed down the laptop was to come up with a new cooling system they’re calling the Lenovo Legion Coldfront 2.0, where they claim to have improved on the air intake system by making it 31% larger.

They’re also boasting that the battery on the laptop is capable of offering up to 7.75 hours of battery life, and the Rapid Charge Pro feature will also help charge it back up quickly again. Other features include Dolby Atmos Speakers, a fingerprint reader, and a privacy shutter on the front-facing camera.

As for the specs, the Legion Slim 7i will sport a 15.6-inch display with up to 4K resolution, up to 2TB of NVMe PCIe SSD storage, up to 32GB of 3,200MHz of DDR4 RAM, and can be configured to sport up to an Intel Core i9-10980HK and the NVIDIA RTX 2060 Max-Q GPU. Lenovo will be releasing the laptop in time for the holiday season where it will be priced starting at $1,329.

Motorola One 5G Is An Affordable 5G Capable Smartphone

Back in 2019 when the first 5G smartphones were rolling out, they were pretty much exclusive to flagship devices, which meant that they weren’t exactly what many would consider to be affordable. Thankfully, 2020 seems to have improved on that aspect, and if you’re after a 5G capable handset that won’t break the bank, Motorola might have something for you.

The company has officially announced their latest smartphone in the form of the Motorola One 5G. This is a device that will cost you under $500 and as the name implies, will also support 5G connectivity. This means that if you want to get in on the 5G action and don’t want to burn a hole in your wallet, this might be the phone for you.

As for its specs, it might not necessarily be the most powerful nor the most feature-packed handset. It will come with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display that features a 90Hz refresh rate, the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset, and will be accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

We’re also looking at a 5,000mAh battery, a quad camera setup on the back, and interestingly enough, a dual front-facing camera setup. The handset is currently slated to arrive on both AT&T and Verizon, but there is currently no specific date for its launch right now.

Apple mistakenly approved malware masquerading as Adobe Flash

Once the darling of the Internet, Adobe, formerly Macromedia, Flash has long fallen from grace and even banned in many corners of the Web for its security vulnerabilities. That, however, hasn’t really stopped some users from trying to install it, for one reason or another, nor does it stop malware writers from taking advantage of that. Unfortunately for Apple, the … Continue reading
