6.1-inch iPhone 12 Expected To Be The Most Popular Model

So far based on what we’ve seen in the past couple of iPhone generations, is that Apple’s cheapest iPhone model, the iPhone XR and iPhone 11 have proven to be pretty successful and have outsold their more expensive siblings. However, is it safe to assume that this could be true for this year’s models as well?

Maybe, or maybe not. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, he believes that Apple’s 6.1-inch iPhone 12 model could actually prove to be the most popular amongst the entire lineup. Kuo claims that out of the shipments Apple is expected to make for the entire lineup, each model will account for 20%, save for the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 which Kuo claims will actually take up 40%.

This means that there will be 20% for the iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. This is actually interesting since we expect that the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini could actually be the most popular, but perhaps its small screen size could actually be a put off for some, especially in this day and age where our screens are getting larger.

Potential pricing of the iPhone 12 lineup have leaked where the base model is said to be priced at $699, while the larger iPhone 12 will go for $799, $999 for the iPhone 12 Pro, and $1,099 for the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
