Apple Silicon Macs Could Be Announced November 17

A rumor from earlier this month suggested that Apple could be holding another virtual event next month where they will be unveiling their first commercially available Apple Silicon powered Mac computers. Now according to a tweet by leakster Jon Prosser, he claims that the event will be held on the 17th of November.

Prosser believes that the event invites will also be sent out on the 10th of November, a week before the event which is typically Apple’s style. We can’t say with certainty that this date is accurate, but Prosser has been scarily accurate with his claims, so it is possible that these dates are the real deal, but we suggest you take it with a grain of salt for now.

It is unclear what computers will be announced at the event. Apple is largely expected to take things slow and start with lower-end models before moving onto Pro models, and one of the rumors is that the company could be reviving its 12-inch MacBook, as well as giving its MacBook Air an Apple Silicon variant.

However, a report from earlier this week revealed that Apple had filed for various certifications at the Eurasian Economic Commission where it was suggested that there could also be desktop models on the way. Given that the Apple Silicon developer’s kit is based on a Mac mini, it is possible that Apple could be preparing a commercial variant as well, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Vivo V20 Review: A surprisingly decent throwback

Smartphones have come a long way in just the past few years alone, rapidly changing in design as well as introducing new, sometimes outlandish features. Almost every smartphone has a gimmick these days in an attempt to stand out from the crowd and it gets harder to think of novel ways to differentiate one model from the next. That’s true … Continue reading

Further Development Of StarCraft 2 Has Come To An End

Blizzard’s StarCraft franchise used to rule the RTS eSports scene, and to a certain extent, StarCraft 2 is still beloved and played by many even today. However, the game is rather long in the tooth so it doesn’t come as a surprise to learn that Blizzard has announced that they will no longer be developing for the game any further.

To Blizzard’s credit, for them to be supporting the game for as long as they have even after the final expansion was released is pretty impressive, but that has always been Blizzard’s approach to their games anyway. So what does this mean for gamers? Basically there will no longer be any new content released for the game in terms of updates.

Blizzard is expected to continue supporting it in terms of bug fixes, balancing the game, and season rolls, so they won’t be abandoning the game completely. According to Blizzard exec Rob Bridenbecker, “We know some of our players have been looking forward to some of the things we’re moving away from, but the good news is this change will free us up to think about what’s next, not just with regard to StarCraft II, but for the StarCraft universe as a whole.”

At the moment it is unclear what the future will be for the StarCraft franchise. We know that Blizzard is still very much working on a new Diablo title, a new World of Warcraft expansion, and Overwatch 2, so we’re not sure where they might slot in a possible StarCraft 3.
