Watching The Boys, one could easily come away from the show with the impression that series creator Eric Kripke has a bone to pick with the superhero adaptations that have fundamentally altered the shape of modern day Hollywood. In reality, though, Kripke’s beef is less about stories about caped heroes, and more about…
The same Chinese government-linked hackers who targeted the campaigns of both 2020 presidential candidates earlier this year have been trying to trick users into installing malware by posing as the antivirus provider McAfee and using otherwise legitimate online services like GitHub and Dropbox.
Such support can unleash “rabid fringes” outstripping efforts to control the potentially violent lunacy, warned Romney.
Console makers love exclusives as it draws players to their platform in terms of both software and hardware, but from time to time we do see some collaborations. Take for example Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where we saw Microsoft’s Banjo & Kazooie make an appearance, and later characters from Minecraft as well.
Then there were Xbox exclusive tiles like Cuphead and Ori and the Will of the Wisps that eventually made their way to the Switch, but it seems that maybe moving forwards, we probably shouldn’t hold our breath when it comes to expecting more Microsoft or Xbox titles arrive for Nintendo’s console.
This is according to Microsoft’s Phil Spencer who during an interview with Kotaku, said that considering titles for the Switch on a case-by-case basis is not sustainable. He notes, “In order to really support it, I would want a full Xbox ecosystem somewhere. And that probably means things like Live and Game Pass and stuff.”
However, this doesn’t mean that things are bad between Microsoft and Nintendo. In fact, it’s the opposite. According to Spencer, “We have a very good relationship with Nintendo, and I think we see our work very synergistically, in terms of trying to grow the market. And it just makes it easy. Every conversation we have with them has really been easy.”
This also doesn’t mean that Microsoft is closing the door on future titles coming to the Switch, it’s just that maybe Nintendo gamers shouldn’t have their expectations up.

We have been hearing the rumors that Fujifilm could be working on a new mid-range digital camera in the form of the X-S10. Turns out the rumors were spot on because the company has since officially taken the wraps off their latest mirrorless camera in the form of the Fujifilm X-S10.
With the X-S10, it seems that Fujifilm is joining other companies such as Sony by creating cameras that seem to be designed for vloggers in mind. This comes in the form of a fully articulating display that lets the user see if they’re in frame when the camera is pointed at themselves. There is also built-in image stabilization, along with support for microphone input.
The X-S10 has also been designed to feature a larger and more prominent grip, perfect for videography if you’re looking for a camera that’s easy to hold without the need for purchasing additional accessories. The camera will feature the use of a 26.1MP X-Trans IV CMOS sensor and the company’s X-Processor 4 image engine.
There is also support for 4K video at 30fps and Full HD with framerates of up to 240fps. The camera comes with a host of external dials for easy access to various controls, while sporting Fujifilm’s trademarked retro design. The X-S10 is priced starting at $1,000 for body-only and will be available this November. As it is part of the company’s X-series of cameras, it will also play nicely with other X-series lenses.

It seems like Disney, Hulu’s controlling shareholder, doesn’t know what it wants to do with the streaming service after the covid-19 pandemic delayed plans to finally expand it outside the U.S. According to Bloomberg, those plans were supposed to get underway in January, but that never happened. Instead, Disney has…
Following an update to version 8.0, PS4 gamers were notified of an upcoming feature that would allow the PS5 to record voice chats that could be sent to Sony for moderation. This led to some confusion and some anger, where some thought that this meant that Sony would be recording ALL voice chats, essentially “spying” on its users.
Sony has since come forward to clarify the feature in a new post, stating that Sony themselves will not be recording the voice chats of gamers, nor will all voice chats be recorded at all. Instead, gamers who are experiencing harassment or abuse over voice chat while they’re gaming have the option of reporting the other player, in which only the most recent five minutes are being recorded.
According to Sony, “Once the PS5 console launches, if a PS5 player needs to file a harassment report, they will be able to include up to a 40 second-long Voice Chat clip in their report — 20 seconds of the main conversation with the other player, plus an additional 10 seconds before and after the conversation selection. Only the most recent five minutes of a Voice Chat will be available for a player to use for this reporting function.”
That being said, it appears that there is no way to opt out of this feature, which means that you should probably be on your best behavior if you don’t want to be reported (which you should always do anyway). An alternative would be to stop using the feature completely, or use third-party solutions like Discord.
