MediaTek may have overtaken Qualcomm as the biggest mobile chip vendor for a few quarters but its presence in the US is still comparatively small. Most of the phones that are sold in that prime market run on Qualcomm’s myriad Snapdragon chipsets, but there have been some exceptions here and there. One such exception will be the Nokia G20 that … Continue reading
With LG’s formal exit from the smartphone market, analysts and watchers may have started to wonder if Sony or HTC, or both, will follow suit soon. As if to prove that it isn’t down for the count yet, Sony unveiled the high-end Xperia 1 III two months ago. That’s how long it also took the company to actually start accepting … Continue reading
In the past few years, we’ve seen accessory makers pay more attention to Apple’s iPad Pro series which isn’t surprising as it is Apple’s flagship iPad after all. However, for those who don’t own an iPad Pro but still want accessories for their iPad, then maybe you might be interested to learn that Logitech has since announced a new Combo Touch keyboard case for the iPad Air 4.
What makes this particularly accessory interesting is that it does not rely on Bluetooth for its connectivity. Instead, it relies on the built-in Smart Connectors on the iPad Air 4 which means that it draws power from the tablet itself, so you don’t need to worry about your keyboard dying, unless your iPad is dead in which we guess that’s a whole different set of problems.
The Combo Touch will bring a keyboard and trackpad to the iPad Air 4 which means that if you wanted to, you could kind of use it as a laptop replacement of sorts. On top of it, it also acts as a protective case/cover for your iPad, making it a pretty perfect travel companion if you need to do some work on the go.
If this sounds like something you’d like to equip your iPad Air with, then head on over to Logitech’s website where you’ll be able to get your hands on the new Combo Touch for the iPad Air 4 for $200.

In 2020, Apple launched the iPhone SE which is basically the company’s attempt at creating a “budget” iPhone. It was a rather basic iPhone with a design that mimicked the iPhone 8, so for those who didn’t really need to have all the latest or greatest hardware, it got the job done just fine.
However, if you do plan on getting the iPhone SE, you may want to hold off until 2022. This is because according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, 2022 will see the launch of another iPhone SE, but this phone will come with 5G. The iPhone SE launched last year was launched ahead of the iPhone 12 series which was the first iPhones to support 5G.
If Kuo’s report is accurate, this means that the 2022 iPhone SE could be the cheapest 5G iPhone ever, so for those who value connectivity speeds, then this could be worth looking into. As for the specs of the phone, we’re not sure what we can expect, but don’t expect too much since this is the iPhone SE we’re talking about.
There have been rumors claiming that Apple might launch a larger iPhone SE Plus, but to date we haven’t heard anything since which suggests that either the device has been cancelled or Apple just got better at plugging leaks.

Your feed on Instagram is basically a collection of posts made by people that you follow. It is also algorithmically sorted where it will be based on posts Instagram thinks you’re more interested in. However, Instagram could soon be adding “Suggested Posts” into the mix, according to a small experiment the company is running.
Right now, Instagram has an Explore tab which is kind of like suggestions where it lists photos and videos from people it thinks you might be interested in based on who you’re following, posts which have been liked by people whose posts you’ve liked, and so on. So in a way, Instagram would kind of be taking posts from there and putting it into your main feed.
What this means is that in addition to people you’re following, you might soon start to see posts from people you don’t follow. This is good for discovery for both consumers and creators, but at the same time, we’re not sure if this could end up feeling a bit too spam-ish. However, Instagram is giving users an option to curate this content by indicating if you’re interested or not, which presumably it will learn from and eventually it will be tailored to your tastes.
It also seems that users can snooze “Suggested Posts” for 30 days, but there doesn’t seem to be an option to disable it permanently, meaning that whether you like it or not, it’s going to be there. That being said, there is a chance this may never happen as Instagram is testing it out, so based on feedback, it may or may not make the final cut.

Apple continued its impassioned defense against a new crop of antitrust bills on Wednesday, advising lawmakers that the legislation’s recommendation that the company open itself up to third-party app stores would spell disaster for consumers by exposing them to unvetted scams and violating their privacy.
